Mentioned selling my Williams Clio the other day, now cleaned (looking good) and on sale. Also LHD 106 Rallye with trackday suspension and tyre mods too. Both priced at £2995 - I don't really want to sell either but needs must. Details are on classified eBay ads. Already some interest in them, they are both a lot of performance and handling for the money.

Seeing as you've driven them back to back, be brave and give us your opinion on both :)

A bit distorted since the Rallye has upgrade suspension and tyres. It also flies up to 7250 RPM and is deceptively quick. You realise when you glance at the speedo. Obviously the Yokohamas are truly awesome in the dry and they are nearly new so it's going to get even better. The car feels really light and it's pretty minimalist so ticks both boxes for me. I like it that it has no PAS too.

The Williams though still handles really well and just as fast as I remember them - the Williams was my demo-weapon of choice in those days. They have just got that lovely grunt that's not evident in the valver and much more powerful than the Rallye. With some traction they really take off. They have a bit more refinement than the Rallye, so in an ideal world I'd have (my) Rallye with the engine and development of the Williams. I suppose a current GTi engine would do the trick ;) Or indeed run a Trophy!
