albeit not a GT3 I remember the look on the face of the 911 RS driver at Cadwell, the year before last, when he came back into the pits after he tried in vain to keep me behind him.... 'is that standard?' "Almost, yes... just a panel filter" :twisted:

At the time I'd not done a great deal to it, performance wise, and it was damp so had the road tyres on.....

Hi I was just looking at that one at Keighly on the internet but I have heard bad things about their imports in the past.

Also I wonder if anyone very repaired 176? Interesting.

Before I bought my 182ff I looked at 3 172 cups and each one looked like it had had a hard paper round. If they drop a little lower in price say 3k, then it would be a track bargain. Last time I visited Croft there was an iceberg 172ff, that had been stripped and tweaked; it was very fast and composed on track.

I think any clio sport that is stripped and with subtle mods and a good suspension set up will be more than good on track and surprise a lot of people. The 172 at croft spent most of the day pestering an 08 plate M3. Great battle.

they do, such a great track and b road car, taking it to autosport on sunday, not so good on m6!! lol

Nice one I was going to go to autosport but haven't got it organised and its a bit far from Edinburgh.
