For sale is my much loved 2003 VW Lupo Gti in Tornado Red. Selling due to recently buying a Trophy. The Lupo is currently on 87,450 miles but will go up as it is used to commute daily (nearly all motorway miles currently averaging 44MPG). It has only had 2 previous owners before me and throughout its life has been maintained to the highest standard as I hope the photos illustrate. It has all the standard spec as expected with a lupo gti plus what I feel are a few tasteful additions that enhance the vehicle.

I have owned the car since June 2009 and since then the car has had no expense spared on it, shown by the huge pile of receipts for work carried out and parts I have had replaced. Currently I am looking at selling it as it is but it can also be put back to standard if the buyer so wishes.

- Full Service History (VW dealers/ VAG specialists)
- Taxed until August 2011 and MOT'd until March 2011
- Major service including cambelt, water pump, spark plugs and all fluids renewed in Sept 2010 (Invoice totalling £301.19 from Lion Garage, Leicester- VAG Specialist)
- Original 2 button VW key and spare.
- All tyres are original 205/45/15 fitment, 2 are Toyo Proxes T1-R’s with approx 4mm remaining and the other 2 are Dunlop SP Sport 2000’s with approx 3mm.
- Lowered all round on fully adjustable AP coilovers (£413.04 from venom motorsport)
- New embossed number plates (front and back- fully road legal with BSA markings)
- Custom Induction kit- air filter located low down in engine bay (costing £250… the noise is not noticeable at low revs but over a certain point adds a great induction roar to the car but nothing too obtrusive). Original air box and pipe work will also be included with the sale.
- As new Sony MEX-BT2600 Bluetooth head unit (hands-free function works seamlessly with Bluetooth mobile phones such as iphones and blackberrys).
- HPI Clear

Parts recently replaced include:
- Coolant temperature sensor
- Thermostat
- Coilpack and ignition leads
- O/S and N/S door check rods/ straps
- Rear brake pads
- Interior door handles
- Alternator
- SMD LED white sidelights (to match Xenon headlights)
- OSRAM Indicator bulbs
- Clear side repeaters

The bodywork is in great condition for its age and mileage; it is waxed at least once a week, polished when necessary and has been given a full winter protection detail by myself. Alloys are in good condition, there are some kerb marks to 2 of the wheels but they have been touched up so are only noticeable from up close.

There are some slight bodywork issues as to be expected with age and regular use, such as stone chips to the front bumper, 2 very small parking dings and a 2cm mark to the rear bumper near the registration plate. But nothing serious that couldn't easily be rectified (I just haven't had time to get round to it). As can be seen in the photos as a whole it is in stunning condition and is a real head turner. I have only mentioned these things above so as to be totally honest with any prospective buyer but I must stress they are only minor and difficult really to notice to the untrained eye.

Car needs to be viewed to really be appreciated. It runs perfectly and has never let me down, gearbox still feels very tight, hard to believe the car has done 87,000 miles in fact. Will be sad to see it go but I have decided to move on to something different. However I can definitely see myself owning another Lupo Gti in the future, they are simply great fun!

Price: £4,590

The car is based in Rothley, Leicestershire. Viewings are welcome but please no timewasters or tyre kickers. If you wish to test drive I will need to see proof of insurance.

Any questions please email me at josh_ellicock@hotmail.com or call on 07826522903 and I will be happy to help.

Thanks,

Josh
