When I was coming up the A1 the other day, on cruise, the engine temp (which is usually rock steady 1 division above the middle) dropped down to about 1/4 of the way up the gauge, stayed there then returned, it did that quie a few times over the next few minutes, and then returned to normal. Hi Cue, was it TB in the end? Mine doing the exact thing cheers!right after a month of on-off diagnosis i've tracked it down to the throttle body shorting out due to some sort of gremlin internally. I'm going to stick a different one on there when i get time and see if it proves a solution - steve, you may want to do the same thing as from what you said this sounds like your issue also.
