Sounds like a generic "flash" remap which whilst there's nothing wrong with them they won't really be adding much to the game as it doesn't take into account what the engine is actually doing. If you were really lucky probably half a dozen extra ponies.

Look forward to seeing the graph though.

Failsport HQ.
As per CS. Lol @ that transmission loss. Which muppets did that?

Considering clios lose about 17% through the transmission, if your ATW figure is correct, that would indicate a very unhealthy engine - pulling only 150bhp or so ATF!!!!!

Which is awful, suggesting the timing is out? Not sure if u mentioned whether thats been done.

Iirc Engine Dynamics are what used to be BB Performance Tuning. They fell over previously so draw your own conclusions ...

I'm sorry but that is a joke. losing 71bhp (40%) between the engine and the wheels is "unrealistic" and apart from that you can tell nothing from that graph.

where is a good place to get one done?

Bearing in mind what Dave said and I was thinking it may be more worthwhile putting the money towards getting one of the better Renault specialists to give their opinion on it.

Transmission loss is not a fixed percentage, it's a logarithmic scale. For example if you have a 100bhp car that looses 15bhp due transmission it will not double the loss if you double the power as you're still using the same transmission. It will increase but not at a fixed percentage.

The thumb rule which proves to be fairly accurate for a fwd car is wheel power plus 10 divide by 0.9.

Therefore for your car it's (125+10) / 0.9 = 150bhp at the flywheel. This I believe represents an unhealthy engine as for EEC homologation purposes once an engine is homologated in a dyno cell all cars fitted with that engine must produce not less than 90% of that power figure. Therefore a Clio 182 with its 179.5 bhp engine should make no less than 161.5bhp.

Very good article by David Baker of Puma Racing Engines describes it all in depth http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/coastdwn.htm

in that case then the at the wheels figure is wrong, there is no way the car is only pulling 150bhp. Its much more than that, my old fiesta was just over 130bhp and this is unrecognisably faster!
