It states in the letter that this is a one off but dont worry as im on teh case to get a pile of stickers for a few people as even on the phone a RUK manager has told me that this is a one off and they wont be doing this for any member of the public !!

bloody good work mate, I gave up at the first hurdle when I tired.

Phoned Renault UK and they didn't have the foggiest what I was on about and neither did SACHS uk!

I'd really be interested in a set!

Good work, though I doubt anyone in the future will care much if stickers there or not more on the condition of the dampers.

I would suggest that you scan them before using them & then it's easy to get some made up for anyone else who can't get them them.

I'm sure there are many with the kit to do this like we do at home for doing them as well as vinyl in small quantities.

There has been a few people on this topic either saying that i have done really well or on the other hand there has been people saying im a total loser.
I have also posted this on Cliosport.net and i have had a rippin about the effort and work i done to get these as people dont understand why when noone can see them.

At the end of the day you can either buy the shock at £500+ to get the stickers or you can keep on to the right people and get a result.

I got mine as i will have another set of sachs dampers at the end of this month and i will be fully refurbing them to within a inch of there life and they are away to BG also and i want them looking like new.

If i do get more stickers after speaking to my contact they will be put on Ebay or i will hold a draw and one lucky winner can have a set.

Wrong again? Scanning would not produce the hologram true, but the rest can be produce exactly as is, it's not difficult if you have the kit to do it.

I'll echo some of the comments. Who gives a toss about what most people on CS say - You stuck to your guns and you made two large corporations pull their fingers out and source something which by most accounts, is over and beyond what they'd expect as their bread and butter work. Great result.

I wouldn't bother with scanning them, but I'd be tempted to take some high res digital photos of them. I've got a friend who runs a printing company, I'm sure he'd knock out some stickers. Obviously they wouldn't have the hologram but that's better than having no sticker at all.

Credit also needs to go to Renault imho..

Thank you again; I know that it was quite a wait for the stickers. We do value all of our customers and do our utmost to assist with enquiries.

I understand you have some further questions about the Sachs suspension stickers, I have provided some information below:

1, Can anyone get these stickers?
I am very sorry to say that you are the only customer who has been able to receive the stickers, this was a very extreme exception and unlikely it will happen again.
2, Are these stickers something that renault sell?
Renault is unable to sell these stickers, the stickers are not something either Renault or Sachs supply on their own - Sachs specialise in shock absorbers and Renault specialise in the car.
3, Would it be possible for 1 more set as i have 2 sets of suspension units?
While we are more than happy to assist you with your original request I do apologise as we will not be able to furnish you with any further stickers.
4, Do you have a direct contact regarding these stickers?
I am very sorry but the communication channel used to obtain these stickers was from our Head Office, to Renault France and then to a contact in Dieppe. I do not have the direct contact to Sach as this was via our Head Office.

Harry is currently on holiday until the 7th and will have a colleague to manage the continuity of his case in his absence.

If you think how much effort you had to put in to get these stickers, then there is literally no chance of any of the 182 owners getting their steering wheels replacing for melting, even though its a well known defect.
