Here we go..
My original plan was to buy a 182 and upgrade the seats, suspension and wheels. But when I worked it out it was slightly cheaper to go all out and buy a Trophy.
Number 214/500
42k Miles, FSH, MOT, Tax, VERY good bodywork for the milage, Ran smoothley, and a decent price. Yesss
First mod, the tow eye:

Next, header tank

Dash strips:

I’ve since put the right decals on the steering wheel and geer knob, along with this =P

Carbon fibre exhaust surrounds:

Tried an ITG panel filter with acoustic valve remove but didn’t notice a whole of difference so I bought a used BMC CDA for fairly cheap to try it out.
Polished inlet plenum and fuel rail guard fitted with PTFE gasket.
I didn’t like the attempted sanding on the top of the plenum, so I sprayed it matt black and sanded through to show the lettering.
I also gave the cam cover and throttle body a bit of clean whilst I was at it.. was pretty shitty beforehand.

Next:
Polished battery cover
OMP strut brace which I sprayed matt black. (And before your start, Its for show, I know they don’t really do anything).

^ Oh, and Hillpower strut covers, which I plan to refurb a bit.

Also put the standard filter back in (Minus the acoustic valve), although the noise of the BMC is awesome, I couldn’t help but feel that I was constantly down on power. And the torque dip at 2.5k ish was reeheeally annoying.

Also, Rear omp strut brace in anthracite, decided to leave it this colour for now because it looks quite OEM against the colour of the boot carpet. Stops the shopping rolling around a bit ?

Polished the aircon pipes a bit:

In progress:
-Painting my engine cover
-Alloy catch tank
-Samco bend in the post
-Full paint correction when i can be bothered

Thats all for now =]

Good work!!

Next job...back to PE2s
Agreed!
Those front tyres came with the car so im just trying to put up with them for now.. free rubber =]
They are the worst tyres iv ever used though, 'Federal 595's' i THINK. Absolutely ZERO grip in the wet, it gets a bit scary sometimes. Not terrible in the dry but theres no feedback at all.. just grip-grip-gone.

If you dont mind sacrificing a little wet grip Hankook RS2s offer really good dry grip and are cheaper than PE2s.

They are supposed to wear quicker too but I do very little mileage so can't comment yet.

Sanding down to about 800 grit (I think) and using a dremel or similar with various mops and grades of polishes to ... polish it.

It catches the oil that would normally be sucked into the air intake.

it'll be interesting to see what the catcher tank looks like internally in 6 months, i'v noticed the trottle body does accumulate carbon build ups that need cleaning out every 6 months to a year.

Mini detail today..
Didnt have time for a full correction (should be done before FCS) so i just went over it with SRP on a soft lake country pad. This was the first time I've applied SRP by machine.. it actually really impressed me.
Topped it with a layer of jetseal.
Now 10% more red

Without doubt the best implementation of an engine cover that I've seen on a T. Great work - I don't normally like them, but yours really fits in.

wow, this is the first engine bay cover I have seen that actually looks any good! Most of the time they just look like a piece of plastic put on top. Nice work
