Hi Everyone,
Just joined the forum and finally in a position to buy a 2nd car. Looking for a good condition Trophy (isn’t everyone!) and have a healthy budget to spend on the right car depending on condition, history etc. Ideally less then 60k miles. If anyone can be tempted to part with...
Seen this on ebay, 74,000 miles or so very similar condition and miles to my own, with the amount of ebay watchers is this a realistic price?
Estimated value from low-high?
£3,000-£6,500?
Thanks.

Test drove a trophy today. On full left lock there was a grinding noise (sorry not sure how to describe it) coming from the right front suspension. Any idea what that might be possible?
Hi all,
Has anyone fitted a proper track suspension setup i.e. AST etc... i'm talking 600lb+ springs at front. If yes, what do you have and how is it? Went out in a full track AST car and it was amazeballs:cool:. I want it on my car now. Ps. don't tell me not to as its a trophy, heard it all...
I'm thinkng of changing my 16" trophy turinis for road and hopefully future track use, i just wanted to ask is there a noticable difference in handling acceleration etc going to some 15" td pro race 3's? I'm off to collect a set tomorrow!
Has anyone found a way of perhaps trying to prolong the life of the Sachs? We know that they can suffer with road salt/dirt so just wonder if anyone else has come up with a solution to protect them. I'm not sure where the failure occurs, whether it leaks at the top of the body of the main tube...
Hello everyone!
The Evo Diaries video which Harry Metcalf did a few days ago was the last straw.... I've gone for it, and will be picking my first hot clio up this evening :D
THe little Trophy will compliment a Series 1 Lotus Elise in the "fleet" and will replace my 1.9 205 GTi..... Assuming I...
Clio 182 Trophy No. 108
After 4 years of ownership I am reluctantly selling my much loved Trophy. It has received nothing but the best treatment in its life, and is a truly superb example of the car. I have had to purchase a smart fortwo to get me around the streets of London, and the Clio...
Hi
I've just refitted my Sachs after CF serviced them and like at least one other person on here they seem incredibly firm. Now I've owned my T for about 5 years and I've driven lots of other Ts so I have a pretty good idea of what's normal, and quite frankly my Sachs dampers currently feel...
Hey Guys
I am Benton form London. I m new to this site and didn't find any introductions sub-forum or thread so I am posting here my intro. Actually I am not a Trophy owner but may be I own a Trophy in few weeks. Because I'm interested in that car and planing to buy that... I m here to get some...
Put the Trophy in for its annual service/MOT and it turns out BOTH front springs are broken and a rear damper is leaking. Car had basically sat for 6 months straight beforehand so I am surprised. Front dampers are fine with no leaks (they were refurbed last August). My questions to you good...
Went for a 100+ mile drive last night up the A84 from Stirling to Lochearnhead, then along the side of the Loch to St Fillans before cutting across the tops to Braco and back down the A9. For those who don't know, these roads up through the Trosachs National Park are some of the best in the...
I’m selling my Clio Trophy, number 320. This must be the best value Trophy you can get ! You'll notice I've a previous advert in the forum but have now set the price to sell at £3,500 ...

I’m selling number 320. Edinburgh, near the airport and happy to pick you up.
Excellent condition, paintwork excellent and interior spotless.
I planned to keep it and looked for a very good one without worrying about mileage. Over the last few months I have started the process of refreshing...
Well sadly it's time to let her go as I need a 4 door car. I don't want to sell, but no choice. Such an awesome and fun car to drive always makes me smile. I had a 182 before this then moved up to the trophy and never been a dull moment

Hello, I've bought a trophy and I love it lots, but there's a couple of niggles:
1) I feel the car is slightly down on power, the car has an incomplete service history and i'm told the cambelt was changed by the previous owner, it's suggested that I get the timing checked, does anyone know how...
I need some front new springs, is there anywhere I can get the normal yellow eibach springs or do I have to change? My suspension goes in tomorrow and I've just noticed it by taking it off one of the springs has broken but I want to replace the pair.
cheers
Need some quick expert advice please
I have a 182 cup pack. Been offered front trophy suspension with hub only thing is the one damper needs repairing.
My question is it worth getting just front and how much to repair generally
Cheers
Hi,
I've just had my dampers back from Simon at Cornering Force and don't hesitate to fully recommend his service.
They are now 'unpinned' and so I want to try and understand what the adjuster actually does and to what degree.
Does anyone have a damper curve for the Sachs at different levels...

Regular stalker of this forum but never time to post T450 is all well (apart from CV boot clip fail) currently on 41k.
Anyway, whilst changing the front discs today I realised the T needed some TLC on her, so I plan to refurb the front dampers, new springs on front, lower wishbones, powerflex...
I'm looking to buy a set of 2118's as my turini's are shagged. But is it going to look like a moon buggy with the 15" wheels without lowering it? Or will I need lowering springs to avoid the puddle jumper look? Has anyone got a picture with the, on without the car being lowered?
Thanks.
