Track Suspension

Hi all,

Has anyone fitted a proper track suspension setup i.e. AST etc... i'm talking 600lb+ springs at front. If yes, what do you have and how is it? Went out in a full track AST car and it was amazeballs. I want it on my car now. Ps. don't tell me not to as its a trophy, heard it all before lol.

I might be wrong but I think Kelv may have an AST setup on his T...

You don't need to replace the dampers - they are motorsport items in the first place, as used by Seat on their BTCC cars. The front springs could do with being stiffer and the rear dampers/springs need firming up also. I'd also suggest going for a decent set of solid top mounts for serious track work. For road use they're harsh but for track it makes a whole load of difference to the steering feel.
