Sorry no pic as of yet.
After selling the Trophy to buy a diesel, I no longer need to travel to the moon and back every week to get to work. So the DIEsel was sold and made way for our ....... Honda S2000.
It's such an awesome car to drive and it just loves to rev. It's Nurburg Blue...
I know this has been visited many times but I'm looking for some new brake discs and pads. Not fussed about track use, just want a good road set. They've got to be good from cold, not mark my alloys, no noise and I don't want to change the brake hose etc. I'm keeping it simple. Any ideas, plus...
Hi guys, Ive just bought Trophy number 266, Im a very happy 20yr old, unfortunetly I wont be insuring her for another 2 weeks until i hit 21, so she will be parked in the garage for whats going to be the longest 2 weeks of my life. Ive been interested in the Trophy since it was released in 05...
Afternoon all.... Newbie here!!
Currently got a FF182, but now the Trophy seems to be luring me in...
I was hoping you could help me out with a few things..
1 - The warranty - I've heard that you can extend it with Renault, is this true, is it worth it?
2 - I've yet to get a test...
Ello all,
Well I'll do a brief intro to me ..then get to the point!
1st rung on the Clio ladder was a used 51 reg 172 and I loved it!
But because I read EVO magazine, and am swayed by their road tests...
I traded the 172 for a brand new 172 cup.
I had the 172 Cup for about 2 years...
I'm just wondering for those people that have gone from 182/172 variants to the Trophy if you notice the Trophy is snappier?
I'm still not fully use to mine due to the conditions and lack of opportunities to really test the handling. I've noticed you need to work harder to keep the Trophy in...
hi guys, i think its time to take the trophy to the track so im goin to sort some wheels and tyres out wats every1 think about 15's and proxes 888 semi slicks, also need some brakes and 1 reccommend a certain package cheers
Quite keen to try a Whiteline rear ARB on the Trophy, mostly read good reports. Any thoughts from anyone?
Also note there is the start of a group buy over on the cliochav forum, sorry I mean cliosport.
So I have finally taken the plunge and bought the lovely number 435. 8)
Many thanks to Steve (artdealer) for a great transaction, and I look forward to sharing more experiences with you as I get to know the car. Can't wait to get on some quiet roads.
As an aside, can anyone recommend a...

This was done for the Wales Tour I'm doing in March
We had a great day out roads lovely and clear and scenary was breathtaking..
Thankfully Andy aka Sharkyuk let me drive while he took the pictures (as he is better at photography then...
What tyre do people recommend for track use on standard trophy turinis.
I have heard the R888 are good but the nearest size is 195/50. Does this profile fit the car properly.
Also I am looking for some kind of longevity. ie do the soft kumho burn through really quickly.
These are a...
Hi guys hope you are all enjoying slippery roads in the Trophy, I am and as you can see I am clocking miles up. Bought Trophy in March with11500miles and now on 22000 (plus now as just drove to Edinburgh).
However, as much as I am enjoying the drive and car the wee red devil has started to...
Just wondering if there are any NW Trophy only meets planned? I know we normally talk about going to CS meets but would be nice for it to be just Trophys?

My car is Capsicum BLACK at the moment and i'm feeling a little guilty about it after seeing all the sparkling trophies on the site.
Can anybody recommend any decent detailers in and around south east London/Kent/Essex areas?
Think i might get it sorted in the next few weeks!!!
Cheers...
I've had the car 3 days now, and done about 400 miles...It really is fantastic and I see why someone has termed the car 'Super Mario Kart'.
However, at the risk of sounding like a whinging so and so, my back and legs haven't stopped aching. After about 20 mins in the Clio I begin to get...
Nipped out today at about 2 o'clockish, just to go to the shops. So the tyres didn't have any time to warm up (engine running at full temp), anyway i was just coming up to a roundabout to double back on myself, went in to the roundabout nothing crazy normal speed and the car just started goin...
Evening all,
So happy, just bought a Clio Trophy! Picking it up tomorrow, 18,700 miles. For a great price too! Going to be a completely differant change from my 1.2 punto  . A very happy 19 year old indeed!! 8)
Due to some kind hearted, delightful young guys, I am now in need of a new wing mirror cover which they shattered for a laugh, along with a number of other cars in my road this evening.
Does anyone know if they come pre coloured or if I will have to purchase one and get it sprayed...
Just had a flick through Autocar while at tesco and saw this. Thought it might be of interest. If Renault do it right it could be a great car.

Just hope it doesn't end up looking like a hairdressers car
I can see me getting one of these in the next few months, so I'm going to give one a go tomorrow at the local Renault dealer. I'm hoping it'll be the perfect car for me -
I love the way the Trophy handles, but I don't like the relative lack of power and torque.
I loved the way my Focus RS...

Evening all! :)
Well it's been a whle since my last post..but it feels good to be back trawling the boards!
Number 351 is now sporting a lovely set of Yoko Parada's (perfectly in time for winter! ) and although they've only been on for 500 miles, initial impressions are good...
Driving to work this morning took me over 50k miles! How many others are there to have reached this? Think I have seen at least 2 others on here that have done 50k, and quite a while ago too. Must be a few more by now?
When Clarkson was putting the old CTR on the track against the new one.
Wasn't too surprised that the old one trounced it, because when I had a quick look at one the other day, it looked a bit podgy. I wonder how the Trophy would compare in comparison. Would be fairly interesting to see as...
Now that the 197 Cup has arrived I intend to buy one in the new year. This will mean that my beloved trophy will have to go, as (as much as I have tried) I can't find the funds (of justification) to keep both! So I'm putting him up for sale soon :( . If there is anyone out there who is...
