Hi all!
If your like me and enjoy reading car magazines such as Evo, Autocar etc etc. Then you'll see that the white R26R has been reviewed by every magazine under the Sun this month (including The Sun!!).
So is it the new Trophy? Is it special enough? And will there soon be an R26R website...
Well the time has come for me to get rid of the trophy!! was just costing me too much to run being 22 and insurance was through the roof!! Iv had to get rid of her quickly, so traded her in for a 1.2 08 plate corsa sxi!! (piece of crap car, but cheaper to run). i have plans to get another trophy...

Hey chaps, a mate's interested in a Trophy, the reg is NY05 JZJ, im not sure what number unfortunatly, thing is its pretty cheap, i think its a cat D, and knowing how great you guys are im wondering if anyone has anymore info on it?
Cheers chaps! :)
Time has come to insure, tax and test my trophy. The car has passed its MOT but I've been advised that the front disks and pads could do with replacing. The car has only done 10k miles but the disks have corroded, due possibly to sticking pads. Naturally, the dealers said the warranty would...

Guys,
does anyone know if you make a glass claim under your insurance if the policy cost will go up - I am fully comp with Green light and some little scrot has broken my back window - no other damage, but not sure whether to make a claim for it under the excess for £60 or to pay for it to...
Has anyone had the Mark Fish exhaust mod done? - He said he'd done a couple of Trophies.
Basically he cuts a 1/4 of the cat off and welds in a nice shiny, new, larger bit of tube to replace the crappy cat to exhaust joint - he reckons its good for 5 bhp??
Cost £125 - anyone think its worth...
Bit of a weird one, but thought it might be interesting to find out what everyone on here does for a living!

So many different reasons i'm guessing!
I bought mine as a daily driver to replace a boring VAG TDi barge. I have always loved french hatches, the handling balance and the way they handle bumpy roads is unrivalled by jap crap and german barges. Trophy specific, i always have to have good...
Just been pulled by traffic police, for driving an Modified car insured as standard - with no modifications!
The guy would not believe me about the trophy spec and now wants to consult my insurance company and 'prosicute me for no insurance' i'm thinking this is a bluff as he gave me no...

HI, was goin to replace my exhaust couple of weeks ago and quite like the sound of the yozzasport system. Got hold of a boy who has one with a decat and met him to see and hear it for myself, it sounded class but just to loud for me as travel 40 miles everyday.
So got me thinking has anyone...
In my short time here (a week) I get the impression that trophy owners seem to be older and more mature than normal RS owners. Is this a fair assumption?
For the record i'm 28 and pick 480 up tomorrow.
Finally got around to taking some photos of the trophy. Had it for little over 2 months now.
I have done quite a few bits since buying her, although I’ve tried to keep everything subtle yet effective.
Modifications to date include;
Milltek cat-back exhaust system
New rear exhaust...
Feet are itching again and it's the same old R26 that's causing it.
I've been offered a 6,000 mile R26 with xenons for an additional 5.5k with part/x on my 24k mint, new front PE2's, serviced, mot'd and taxed Trophy.
Shall I ???? Is it a [-X or a
Basically 8k for mine 13.5k for...
Right as an owner of a Trophy for the last few months we have all seen the horror stories surrounding the front dampers & the costs from the stealers involved in replacing them.
Whilst looking into the dampers, you soon realise why they are 'so' good. Not your usual bolt on upgrade, but top...

as some of the trophys are now due there first mot i thought it would be good to see what miles everyones done in them. mines done just over 27,000 which isnt too bad for a nearly 3 year old car. bout average i think, anyone got a really high mileage one and any under 10,000 miles?
i know theres probably already been a thread covering this but i cant find it, so basically my renewal is up soonish and i was looking for opinions on who to go with, im currently with adrian flux and i dont get my renewal quote for another few weeks, ive heard greenlight are pretty good just...
The part number for the ECU bracket that breaks is 7701471821, so Renault Mill Lane Aldershot say, but I don't know if I believe them. If you book the T into a dealer to have the bracket repaired under warranty this is the number to quote in advance for the part.
Just had my entire morning...
My other half is taking my Trophy on a 1:1 tuition track day to Goodwood in August and need to insure the car - just in case the worst happens! God forbid!
We just have fully comp insurance at the mo, and wondered whether I can just 'up' the insurance with our existing insurance provider -...

Didn't get the chance to see what number it was. But was an 05 plate (first registered july 05), 1 previous owner, 27k miles. Needed new front tyres and probably rear disks and had a few small scrathces on the rear but in general wasn't too bad looking at all.
Went for £6500, I very...
By Rex,
This is a piece I'm about to submit to Auto-Journals:
Three RenaultSport cars in eight months: whilst that statistic may appear to be the symptom of a depreciation junkie, in truth it is my car history since September 2007.
Ownership of my first Renault Sport, an Arctic Blue...
