As i have things planned for the next few weekends and a short holiday in before the end of march its going to be a good few weeks before im able to make a trip out to wales for a day of driving and getting to know the trophy a bit better. I was wondering, what are peoples favorite driving roads...
This pains me, but a recent divorce and a new house purchase necessitates it; I've owned two of these and it'll be sorely missed.
This is a very special example:
36,000 miles
1 previous, retired owner to 2012 and 18k miles
Full service history with no expense spared
MOT until end November...
It pains me to do this and I know I'll regret it but #167 is going up for sale.
Its been a very short romance but a change in work location and a newly acquired diesel daily means its now a 3rd car and prob won't get used.
I hope the previous owner doesn't mind me robbing the particulars...
Just noticed this recently, I've had to do a few full lock turns (or near full lock) and there's been a slight juddering. It come's through the steering wheel but feels suspension related.
Anyone got any ideas?
I can't remember from my previous T, but is this normal with the sachs?
Cheers
Would love to see this go to a decent home as I have put a lot of work and effort into it!

It is finally time to say goodbye to my Clio, need to make room for a new arrival (Lotus Elise:up:). I'm sure there is a good home for my Clio out there.
Car has full service history from Renault dealer all up to date, recently replaced gearbox has only done 400 miles, 12 months MOT all fine...
This is a very low mileage and very well cared for enthusiast owned car. I've owned it since October 2012. In my ownership I've had the below maintenance performed;
- Timing & auxiliary belts changed replaced
- New original Renaultsport splitter replaced
- Trophy Sachs dampers refurbished...
I am considering selling 259 due to a change in circumstances. I have only driven 200 miles in Trophy in the last 8 months, 150 of those miles last weekend. I originally bought the Trophy due to the requirement of needing a fast but economical car. Now it is proven that I don't need the...
With deep sorrow the time has come to sell my much loved Trophy as I am now in need of a 5 door car as we are expecting a new arrival in the family. The car has been very well maintained and drives absolutely superbly. I have owned the Trophy for 5 and a half years and have not had a single...
new to the forum and currently driving/selling my beloved mk5 golf gti edition 30 fully built by REVO to stage 2 334hp 341ftlb, I would post a link to my build thread but not if it doesn't comply with forum rules and I don't want to annoy the admin/mods just yet
Cut a long story short me and...
Just passed its mot today and will have 6 months tax on from Tuesday. The only reasons for sale are I want a T5 Transporter for towing my race car and I just don't have the time to give it the TLC it deserves and I would normally lavish on one of my cars. The plan was always for it to be kept...

Hi All
i have just become a Clio Trophy owner! So far I am delighted with my purchase. Unfortunately she has had a few mods but nothing that I can't put back to original over time. I plan on keeping her as a long term investment/fun little hot hatch. The main thing I will be looking out for is a...
When one of my Sachs failed recently I was in a real dilemma over what to do. To have them refurbished is the best part of £500 just for the front two shocks and there’s no real warranty on the repair. Combine that with the horror stories of people having them refurbished just for them to either...

Recently purchased from Feirny for both the Bedford trackday on Saturday 16th (where it performed absolutely faultlessly, & allowed me to have a flipping awesome day!!) and to replace the R32, I’ve now been informed that a Clio is not really suitable for work/car allowance purposes anymore. As...
Hi guys.
