Had my car booked in today to my local dealers 'Masters of Beckenham' for an oil change and to fit some Goodridge brake hoses.
I received friendly service from them with all the work being carried out to my satisfaction at a very reasonable previously agreed price - they even cleaned the car...
I have done 3200 miles now and have noticed some clutch judder when I pull away at low revs in 1st gear. Is this normal? Should I keep revs up a bit more or should I get this checked out. I do most of my driving in London rush hour. I would be grateful for advise.

What is the correct tyre pressures for the Exlato tyres.
Just had my tryes checked to see if i had a punture and they have no idea what the correct pressurs should be. Now i have looked in all of the hand books but cant find the information. I have spoken to the dumb arse dealership and...

Hi,
Is this definitely the right part number for the intermittent wiper stalk? 7701051763??
The dealership being their usual un-helpful self say its a switch and too cheap to be a wiper stalk . . . . . . Now they're making me doubt myself!! :(
Thanks!
I thought it was time I tried to take the car over to France for a change!
Will be heading over to Calais just after Xmas (perhaps 26th) - but just for the day.
Do you guys have any suggestions what to do when arriving in Calais? Is it worth driving to Paris or should I explore other...
Credit where credit is due.
I have been very impressed by Renault London West. They serviced and fully valetted my car in 3 hours, gave me a coutesy car in the interim (albeit a little dirty inside) and called me promptly to advise the car was ready: all on a Saturday.
I bought a demo car...

For those of you not up to speed, my coolant temperature needle turned into a disco on My drive round the M25 on Sunday. Would just go all over the place. . . . . Didnt think too much of it, but maybe i should have!!!

Just done the first shopping trip in the little darling (full week's shop, plus beer and getting some BOGOF tins of chocs in for Christmas) and have managed to avoid injury - just.
You have to develop a bobbing, ducking motion when packing and unpacking the car to avoid a sharp blow to the...
This morning, whilst reversing out of my space where the Trophy had been parked all night, as I wound on lock I got a knock coming through the steering wheel, as though I had hit a kerb with one of my wheels. As I then straightened up and brought the steering back round to centre the knock...

Hi guys, seems like a few of us are picking up Trophies this weekend, so how about some advise on what to look out for at the Dealership when checking the car over - just before we accept them ?

What oil have Renault loaded the Trophy up with from new?
Through my other posts here, I was advised not to go to a fully syn after 1000 miles as the oil would be too thin etc, and that I should keep the running in oil in there, but would Renault really tell us to leave a running in oil in...
A few problems with my Trophy, picked up from the dealer last Saturday:
1. Alarm is oversensitive and almost always goes off 30 seconds or so after setting with one press of the key.
In the manual I've discovered that if you turn on the ignition and turn it off again immediately, this...

Right Ladies and Gents, only one more day before i pick up my Trophy from the 'stealers' on Thursday morning! Just wondering if you have any advice on how to twist the 'stealers' arm to see if i can get anything else out of them???
I am gonna try to get the Meggy Aluminum...
Just picked up my Trophy, would someone please explain how you operate the lumbar support on the seats? One is fully extended, the other is fully closed.
I also heard that you got a CD with the manual? Is this right? If so what's on it?
Mine's No 242 by the way.

Looking around at Normal Clio 182's 2nd hand that are anywhere between 9-18 months old with usually under 20k on the clock, considering the website quotes an on the road price of £14,800 ( i know they could be snapped up for about £11,500 from some internet sales site ) but to...
I can barely believe it, but my trophy has been stolen after a brief struggle with three men in ballaclavas last night in sainsbury's car park in Fallowfield, Manchester.
I put up a bit of resistence, but it was difficult as i was sitting in the car with him standing in the doorway holding my...

What delivery mileage did your trophy have? What's reasonable. Going to see mine yesterday it has 17miles on the clock, which doesn't sound a lot, but you can cover a lot of ground in 17 miles...17 miles worth to be precise :/
I rang Renault to confirm date the car is meant to arrive. They previously told me 20 September. Now they say 29 September. What a shit!! Has any one any info on the reason it might be delayed. It seemed from this forum a few were to be arriving on or around 20th. Anything I can do to hurry it...
