No. 71 of 500 48,600miles
Bought in Nov 2009, selling because we need a bigger car for a dog (good lady wants one for her bday in March!).
Won’t need any further money spending on it until tax at the start of July and then service/MOT in November...

I've just done this very thing. Picked up one two weeks ago.
Got it booked in for a service next weekend, where I'm chucking on new OEM dicsc, Fedoro FS2500 pads, gulf racing brake fluid and braided hoses.
Also changing the engine oil to Gulf competition, new air filter, gearbox oil, engine...
Just had a quote for my service. Let's say it's expensive at £1,046 !
Is this normal? Anyone recommend a garage?
Car hasn't been looked at by them yet just a standard quote for a Clio sport 182.
Back again for sale and this time it's for certain. I need a much larger car and four doors.
One owner, low milage car. First registered on 24/12/2005. Number 487. Always garaged and extremely well looked after. Full service history including initial oil change after running in period. The...
right, my beef is basically, why are these cars just not worth that much money anymore? for a car as amazing as this to drop from £15,00 in 5 years is pretty shocking, i think asking for £4000, £5000, or even £6000 when selling yours is rediculous. these cars are classic and a piece of history...
I've decided to just sell the car after all the sh1t I've been through with that Tom. He's made me so Sick of it all that I just don't want the dam car any longer which I've babied for almost six years. It currently has the POS RS2 manifold fitted and would need to be removed as it's not working...
Bought this brilliant car earlier in the year with the intention of doing a few hill climbs sprints (see my posts on here in spring about damper rates etc) - but apart from a couple of outings it hasn't been used much so unfortunately it must go. Getting valet done at the weekend so will have...
Hello All,
Having been away from Clio Sport ownership for a while, I'm thinking of purchasing a Trophy.
Does anyone have any info on this one...

Looks like a pretty good price but I'm wondering if it has been abused a little, going by the picture of...
My trophy's recently started making a creaking noise which looks to be coming from the drivers side suspension. You can hear it when driving over any slight bumps in the road and especially over speed bump. Also today noticed what must be a slow puncture as the pressure on this tyre was down to...
Unfortunately, the time has come where I can't put this off any longer, it is with great regret that I am offering my Trophy up for sale.
I need a 5 door car, as running my 16 month old daughter around in the back is just not practical, and with a long term back injury, I find it painful...
Afternoon. Just phoned up Renault to book my car in for a service and she asked me what type of service i wanted. As i don't know much about what service is what i just told her i want a full service. She then asked for mileage to which i told her just ticked to 37k. She then said that i will...
Reluctantly, I'm having to sell my 182 Trophy to cater for two little ones and the baggage train that goes with them!
Few basics:
Just over 58k miles, the car is off the road so this won't change.

I'm based in Berkshire and I want to upgrade from 2 to 3 stars so I'm after some guidance on buying a used Trophy.
When you bought your used Trophy did you get a professional independent inspection carried out? If so, who did you use & would you rate their service?
If not, what did you check...
Hello,
First day, first post.
I'm on the look out for a brilliant example of a Trophy to buy.
I live in Saddleworth, OL4. Willing to travel reasonable distance.
If you are considering selling, please get in touch humphris1@me.com
Thanks
Currently umming & ahhing about buying an e46 M3 in the next 6 months, so may sell the Trophy at some point ... i have absolutely no idea whats its worth though due to the laughable mileage.
FYI, i know whats its worth in bits, but not as a whole, so im just thinking in case someone wanted one...
As per title?
I honestly can't see myself selling the little bugger. Took it for a blast on some newly discovered B roads recently and was still absolutley gobsmacked at how bloody good it is. :D
I bought a Boxster S six months ago and even though it's a brilliant car, unless you're a...
Due to fitting the JMS RS2 Manifold I no longer require this brilliant piece of kit.
As you can see from the pictures it is in very good condition and contains everything you need to fully fit including the instruction/fitting manual and a can of itg air filter oil for servicing. I have the...
Very reluctant sale. However need a cheap run around to commute to new job and park in the street and not mind getting parking dents etc.
The Car.. absolutely no expense spared. Full Service history with Renault and Renault Specialists, only recently serviced by FRED in Birmingham.
- 45k Miles...
well i say at it again, even though this is my first experience of some rather questionable service standards.
I took my T to a local Renualt dealer for pure convenience on my part i must add, just to finish off the last parts of a service.
on returning to pick up the T and with paperwork and...
My first post & a sad one. I've had my Trophy (#61) for a v enjoyable year & took it for its first track day with me the Saturday before last at Lydden Hill, having just had the expensive full cam/aux belt done. Unfortunately it seems to have blown a valve & my local Renault dealer that I...
Hi,
Newbie just signing on and wanted to introduce myself. I'll be on the lookout for a Trophy or possibly a 182 with both Cup packs and recaros as a daily driver. I have a S1 Elise for the weekend, although I'm expecting that if what I read about the Tropy and 182 is right, I might be using...
Sadly the time has come to part company with my much loved Renaultsport Clio Trophy.
It is build number 226 of the 500 that were released in the UK and has just over 54,000 miles on the clock. This will creep up as the car is in daily use
It has a full service history and benefits from a very...
I have for sale a nice white 16v on a K plate, so actually phase 1.5 but close enough.
I have just done the cambelt, clutch, waterpump, thermostat, oil/filter, gearbox oil, pas fluid, sparkplugs, airfilter, coolant inc flush and new header.
Mot'd last weekend so has 12 months MOT on it. No...
Hi all
I had a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for, so excuse the new thread.
Is there a recommended set of milestones for services (minor and major)?
My Trophy is sitting at just under 41,000 and the previous owner advised me to get her serviced next at around 45k...
