Ouch. I paid £84.63 + VAT for a pair just before last Christmas. That eBay ad looks like Renault Wolverhampton too. I guess stock is running down and they've hoiked the prices; cheeky s*its.
Are you sure that was for Trophy ones? This is as cheap as I've seen them, even looking back to threads over 5 years old on cliosport.

+1 too buying the wrong ones

Yep, they're fully original Sachs. Not the original grey, but black with the new Sachs ZF sticker. The eBay ad is for Wolverhampton Renault. They've just whacked the prices up over time. Trophy tax as per usual.

Note they're now asking £200 a pair. Only going to go higher. I was just lucky. Should have bought several pairs...

Makes me wonder how much these actually cost the dealers.

Hmm, just rechecked the invoice. The part number doesn't match the correct part numbers we've all been quoting, either 8200 519 954 or 77 11 433 946.

Clearly the muppets got brain fade between me clearly quoting the part number and them picking and packing the item. Quite how I don't know!

It seemed like a super knowledgeable guy at Wolverhampton Renault when I called them directly. Twits.

The reason I claimed they were original and correct was I had someone else open the package and describe them, obviously not as observant as I expected and just thought because they were black they were correct!

Thanks for pointing this out guys. I'll now need to get on the phone to Wolverhampton Renault on Monday and have them replaced. God knows what they've sent me.

Wolverhampton are shit, they got one order wrong despite me also giving correct part numbers and then sent the follow up order to the wrong address. To cap it all I then had to fight for my money back. I now use another Trophy owner or Paul Temperton on FB for my bits.

Hmm, food for thought. I'll see how I get on. Given the date of the invoice is 4th December 2015 I expect they'll get hissy about taking the part back. Queue a massive PITA slanging match. We'll see.

Oh crap. Do you have emails or was it all by phone? Good luck.

All phone. All I have is the invoice. The only thing I have to lean on is that why would a Trophy owner of eight years ask for the wrong part? Also that I was clear in stating both the part number and that it was a Trophy, so why would I want 182 dampers?

All the other items I quoted the part numbers for they got correct. Just not the main item!

You never know, I may inspect the contents of the box and find the right ones for the price of 182 Cups! That would be nice karma for all their prior screwed up ordering. Pigs might fly.

Well that was remarkably easy. Yet they still got it wrong.

"You've sent me the wrong dampers, part number on invoice ends 128". "What's the reg number? Oh, you need part number ending 125". "No I need part number ending 954". "But them's for the Trophy and are £180." "That would make sense, registration number I gave you is a Trophy." "Oh yes, so it is, I didn't notice that."

He then wanted £180 +VAT and postage. Informed them their eBay site was £200 inc VAT and free postage. Matched the eBay price with free postage.

All I have to do is send back the wrong ones to their address, they automatically agreed to refund the money and pay for the return postage costs. I best check the box before they go back to see if they really are wrong; two Sach's for £84 would be a bargain.

Going to take the plunge on a pair soon. Having #384 on a ramp, it has generic dampers on so want to put Sachs back on it.
