    coolant warning light

I had it come on this morning coming home from the gym. No symptoms whatsoever, just the light. I've booked it in for Monday. I assume it's just the Coolant Temperature Sensor. Hopefully it will be a painless easy fix.

    Poor economy :(

Hi all, My trophy has only been averaging between 26-28mpg recently where usually its easily 33-35mpg. Around a month ago I put a decat on it, do these affect mpg that much? Or could it be the lambda sensor? may have got damaged when putting in the decat?

I'm thinking of buying a couple of Mich PE3's as the fronts need replacing. Rears have covered at least 15,000 miles but have good tread. Do you, A) Replace the fronts with the new tyres? Or B) Switch the partially worn tyres on the rear to the front, and put the new tyres on the rear. ?

    Wiper Stalk

I've finally relented and decided to fit the intemittent wiper stalk. I have a very good guide on how to fit it. However, it does not state exactly how to remove the upper steering wheel cowling/cover. There don't seem to be any screws holding it in. Does anyone know how to remove this? Thanks.

    question about sensors.....

here's one for the techies out there... do sensors just report or do they control? maybe it depends on the sensor???? i.e. if you get a fault code. could the fault likely be caused a dodgy sensor or could a dodgy sensor have altered the EMS to trip a fault?

Quick before and after, what do you think?

Worth £10.99?? If you like them just a word of warning, they do not leave much room at all to get the tool in to remove them and in atempting to remove 3 as a test I broke one. So my advice would be if you swap wheels alot you'll probably ruin quite a few and need to buy more quite soon...
