Trophy #461
No clean shots in here detailing freaks.

It gets driven, & it gets driven hard. 172k miles & counting.

Mud is courtesy of the field at Haynes, which was perfect for handbrake turns ;)

Thanks for all the positive comments people, i really do love these cars

Was supposed to be selling it, purely in an effort to be sensible, but after the fun at Haynes on Saturday, i simply cant get rid of it. Well that & the fact that my gf also loved driving it around the track - no chance i'd let her drive the M3 that i had planned on buying instead ...

Car doesnt have the MF setup though im afraid, i do have a whiteline ARB sat under my desk at work though - which will be fitted for Brands at the end of the month :D

The eagle eye'd may have noticed that the pics are of 2 different cars, the mint one (now sold) did the Euro trip, & the pink shed did the track day. Here's a mileage photo for you all to enjoy

Was this that high mileage ex company car that turned up lady year?

Yup, had its 1st cambelt service on 72k, after 11 months of ownership

Now relegated to track days only, so not entirely sure the original 172k mile engine, clutch & gearbox will last ...

I think the engine should be okay if looked after, pretty amazing the clutch has lasted 172k though :D And I'm not really sure on the life span of the gearbox either, although some people seem to change the gearbox oil now and again.

Nice Eddy!! I've got pics of yours on my disc actually, so ill dig them out for you later on 8)

Had a great day at Brands on Sunday, but cold, but again, the Trophy performed faultlessly, the Whiteline ARB (Set to medium) has really transformed the car imho. Whilst i was suffering from understeer on the limit at Snetterton, this has now been replaced with a greater willingness to hold the line, combined with a improved tendency for oversteer. The car is now, & i hate to say it, very similar to the Vts on Bilsteins i had previously, which tbh i was trying to recreate!! I now have the option to steer with the steering wheel, throttle or brakes, the ARB stiffening the rear up to the point where it really is quite twitchy, lovely  No more 3 wheeling either, so its certainly doing something back there!!

Anyway, my photos, courtesy of Focussed Events:

Only problem all day was that we were both sliding around on the seats quite a bit (despite harnesses), not great when you're approaching paddock with a dab of oppo ;) That'll be sorted after last nights purchase though ...

In addition, as you can see the front wheels could do with a little more camber, not just for grip purposes, but to prolong tire life as well, mind you, at £30 a corner for T1R’s its not the end of the world.

The T at the top of the Stelvio Pass:

Drove some amazing roads, such a great experience! :D

Ollie - what's that attached to the front? Was that about 3000 miles?
