Just had a check of my trip computer too see what mpg i've been getting (I wouldn't normally bother checking, as long as its not single figures I don't really mind but if the facility is there then why not use it!)

Was a bit surprised to see I was getting 28mpg. I know its a big engine for a small car but I guess I was expecting a bit more. My dad's V6 Alfa 166 could almost do that!

What kind of figures is everyone else getting?

Been getting 32 while running in and doing motorway work.
Still to find out what it will do in the lanes.

29 mpg - Doing a week day cross town commute of ten miles and a twice a week hour long thrash, like hyb, got it down to the 14's at the trackday! :D

Used to get around 31 mpg in my 172 doing the same sort of day to day driving, maybe mpg, like engine power is something that improves with time?

I have not reset my trip computer for 4000 miles and have averaged 32.3mpg over this period including last week\'s track day. Cheers. O.

p.s I\'ve calculated the average fuel cost to be 10.6p per mile assuming 93.7p per litre (Optimax cost at Hemel...). Cheers. O.

On my commute to work through stop start traffic I get between 27 and 28! Not to bad! On a run over to my Dads, about 10miles away I get about 33!

Seems like the milage i'm getting is towards the lower end of the range, but then it is driven enthusiastically most of the time....

Glad to see its around everyone elses figures though - I'll reset the trip computer now i'm at 6k (probably hasn't been for 3-4k miles) and see if it's improving as the car is loosening up.

Essex for my sins.
On a sensible week i can normally see around 27/29Mpg.

But i have been known to drop this all the way down to around 19mpg which was a little scary.

TBH when i owned my 1.4 16v Clio which i used to abuse big time just to get it places i would only see 34mpg, in the summer when i had the climate control on this would drop to around 29mpg. So i am really happy with what i get with the Trophy.

27 - 30 general use with pleanty of enthusiastic driving. 35 / 36 on criuse at 75mph on motorways if covering more than 20 miles

I have had 42mpg on very steady trip to work at no more than 60mph on A road for 19 miles. But what's the point when you have a car like he trophy....
