i.e. evil bloodsuckers.
What they do is offer a fair amount then pic holes to drop the price in the hope you say yes.
They offered £5750 for my Alfa 156 that was mint and when I got there they made up reasons why they could only go to £3750 so I promtly told them where they could stick their offer and left.
I hate that company with a passion. I have been for a look once or twice just to see different models of cars (never to buy) and the prices are frightening.
1 example was they wanted £15k for a Astra VXR which I estimated would be £12 tops at a franchised dealer. You then give em £99 pay £99 for 12 months then £589 for then next 4 years with a total close to £30k.
Robbing evil barstewards!!

Their market is for standard everyday cars so there is absolutely no point in going to see these kinds of companies with any cars other than that.
Their target audience - People with absolutely no interest in cars other than to get from 'A-B', drivers who can't be bothered to shop around for good prices and service etc etc.
You're better off trying to get a good deal at a dealership or specialist car garage as these guys know how much they're worth and how much they can make on them.
