V6 0 - 100 time????

Does anyone know how quick the V6 is 0-100 especially the 255?

Cant seem to find this info anywhere on net or in mags.

not sure on the 255 but the mk1 is 17 dead to 100 in the back of evo...no quicker than a 182. Seen 182 figures into the 16's but they are both around the 16/17 second mark to 100.

Yeah checked evo and its blank apart from mark 1.

Dead curious to know if it is low 16's or maybe high 15's.

Find it very strange how each magazine qoutes diff times for cars when checked.

14.67 according to them, sounds about right, it may be heavy but it's got 255bhp and 221lb ft torque! I had a head to head witha 230 a while back and he couldn't get away from me, wouldn't fancy my chances with a 255 though.

Yeah one of my mates has a 54 plate V6 thats the 255 model, its doesnt pull as much as some may think, it tends to be at higher speeds (in excess of 100) when the extra grunt starts to show.

But they sound awesome so i'l let him off

Well what started of my query into this speed was that I saw an 03 and he gave me the thumbs up. But it was the sound that got me! Deep grunt!

So I looked up the speed of it (it being an 03 230) and I was surprised at the 17secs!

Love to know an exact time for being such an anorak comparison geek!

There is a video on youtube and cliosport of a black 182 with an AAS and decat...its savage. Good choice, it will be loud. Btw, are you getting a decat too?

Yeah I ve heard of that guy - it is crazy loud.


Sorry no decat for me, the system he has designed is like the v6 system but box is horizontal not vertical.
