Trophys for sale

Fella's,

Seen the 2 trophy's that are for sale at Allvehicles.com. Does anyone on here know the heritage of the 2 cars. I like the idea of the early 002 car, but feel that the latter number represents better overall value as i wont be doing great mileage in the car (well apart from the 'Ring and Le mans 2007)!. Just waiting for the house to sell and the reddies will be ready to buy either of the cars.

Have you actually spoken to steve at allvehicles, he posts regularly on this site and he's a sound guy he should be able to fill you in on their history. Also if you do a bit of searching 002 has been talked about recently on here.

No i aint spoke to him yet. Possibly gonna drive down next weekend all being well to take a look at the cars (loooonng way from Yorkshire). Not too bothered about a testdrive as i used to work in a garage and drove a fair few 172's/182's and was impressed with them, so the trophy is just going to be the cream of the crop.
