'Soft' Handling

After not driving the T for a few days, I used it tonight to pop to the shops, not driving it hard as it was only a short trip but the steering seems to be lighter and doesn't inspire confidence, even when at low speed. The only way I can explain it is it slightly feels like understeer when travelling less then 20MPH whilst having the steering around 1 turn in either direction. The steering when driving at the speed limit also seems lighter then when it was new, as if tyres were over inflated (I've checked and they aren't).

have you changed the rear dampers at any point?

I think we've established that the answer to this thread is (understandably) that nobody knows because one would need to see the car and even then it would probably be difficult to pinpoint exactly what it is (if anything).

Bear in mind the car is not going to "drive like new" after a few years however much we would like them to.
