I forgot how I fitted mine, I remember ringing Hoolio for answers :)

Yes you need to use loctite but only a small amount, loctite on aluminium bonds really well, I had a right job taking mine off.

BenG do you have a photo of the Compbrake STM's fitted? I'm considering getting a set soon as I think it's time for some track action!

No pics of them fitted I'm afraid, I removed them a while back now too, I just have standard mounts fitted.

I found them too harsh for road use, too noisy and affected the ride quality. But dont let me put you off :)

Agree with Ben; if my T was predominantly a road car then I'd take my stm's off - acceptable, just, for the odd trip out but ace on track.

Mine are staying on! However, it is my right - some say duty- to complain! If you are below 40 you can correctly be judged as "a pussy" as hoolio points out ;-)

Hum. As they've been on over two years probably more than you did before you bailed. I'll admit I split my limited mileage between three cars but when I drive the T I try to drive it as close as possible to how they it should be driven and as I have said before I don't even notice how firm the ride is these days.

Anymore for anymore?

Also I've always said that for day to day use most would find them harsh and that I would advise people to try the non invasive Combrake before they go drilling the turrets to fit the better MF/AST/K-tec.

Does anyone have any images of STM's in place? I'm quite interested in putting some on. I can't really decide which one's to go for out of the AST's, Compbrake or K-tech one's, any ideas? I've heard you can adjust the camber with the AST's but I'm not sure if this is true?

There's already a post somewhere with my Ktec ones fitted - easy to do, and well made - not for pussies though :)
