Cheers Hoolio. :D

Cant wait to get these fitted now ! I miss the T.
Been without it over a week now and have been driving a clio 1.2 about. It probably has about 60BHP and it handles like a sack of s**t.

Everyone was panicing about spring compressors at the time but they are soft enough not to really need them as long as there are two of you to ease the tension.

c spanner yes plus the spring compressors - it'd have cost me more than i paid for them to fitted to buy them, although you've got them for next time but i don't plan on taking them off any time soon.

Ive managed to get hold of both the compressors and C spanner, but yes, if I couldnt get hold of either I would have paid my mate to do it.

Did either of you put Loctite on when clamping the top mount together at the turrent.

You know I don't recall mark actually putting any on but the instructions recommend putting it on the damper thread and also the thread where the ring finishes up.
So you bloused it and borrowed some compressors then :~) probably best buy they are such a pain in the butt to use.

Just picked up second hand set of compbrake mounts and in very good condition. Can someone explain fitting routine for me? Also, after reading this thread, I also need loctite?
