#468 went for its full 36k service inc aux belt kit, would just like to say what a great job the guys did, good prices and the customer service is perfect, the best ive recieved off a garage since ive been driving. They even sorted me out with a Kangoo courtesy van as i had work, and cleaned the Trophy for me!

The car now feels like new again, very very pleased, if your based in the North West/Cheshire area then this is the place to go!

I've only heard good things about them. I think #083 will be going there in a couple of months, possibly even sooner since the emissions light is on at the moment.

Can you let us know how you get on with them please stevie. After being let down by Renault Wirral, Lookers Chester and RUK recently I'm looking for somewhere I can trust and rely on.

Hi Berty,

I too have had numerious problems dealing with Renault including Renault Wirral, Renault Liverpool, Arnold Clarke St Helens, Arnold Clarke Warrington and Connelly & Anderson Renault Specialists.

I've just got back from Birchdown and have to say the service was great. It's very down to earth, friendly and good prices. I would definitely recommend it mate I will be booking the car in for the next service with them. :)

The only problem is finding them

Check out their website, the guys used to work for Renault so they know what they are doing and specialise in Renaultsports. 8)

Cheers for that Steve. I think I'll be using them for my next service then, it's due in about 2 months. I'm guessing they're cheaper than lookers renault with there £75/hr labour rates as well.

Yes mate they will be cheaper.

Renault Liverpool quoted me £180 to change the gear linkage, Birchdown done it for £60 and without the hassle, says it all really. :)

Good to read this as I need to take mine for a quick service soon, thinking of taking it to Birchdown, not taking it back to Slaters

Has anybody tried Reno-Tech in Llandudno jct, North Wales?

As a 'soon to be' Trophy owner, I was reading this tread with interest and decided to look up Birchdown's website to see where they were........ I was shocked to recognise the dialing code as my own and was amazed i'd never heard of them!

Anyhow, i decided to have a drive across there and get some tips on what to look for when buying a Trophy..... Would you believe it i knew the guys running it - They were the two best guys who used to work at my local Renault garage in Whitchurch (when i had my 172 cup). :p

Needless to say it was great to catch up and get some useful tips!

No all i need to do is find 'the right' Trophy to start taking there....... (trophysmall)

I've heard a couple of good comments about them from people on RS. I phone for a price for aux belt but they were as expensive as the main dealers so I didn't bother.
