Is it me???

I have just watched this week's top gear and can't help thinking "Jammy Barstewards"

Clarkson, May & Hammond blasting down to the south of france just for the hell of it in three supercars.

Well I want some of that action in my Trophy!!

anyone up for a trip next summer??

They just look to be having such a ball.

If anyone else is interested in driving down to the south of france to see that amazing bridge and driving amazing roads post your interest here.

If there are loads of takers I am sure we could split into groups so as not to worry the gendarmerie!!!?*

What do you all think?

Yes mate, put me down for that, the roads looked lovely, when i've driven in France in the past the motorways are empty and smooth as a porn stars snatch. Tolls the only probs, but judging from the back roads they went down even they look great. Just a pain to remember what side of the road to be on.
There must be a good french road guide on the internet somewhere.

That's great. I will do some research on the roads.
A few years ago I did the "italian job" charity run in my mini which took in some of the Alps. etc.

With all these route planners I am sure a good route with varying roads can be sorted!

Once I have some details perhaps we can drum up some real interest!

Cheers

I'll be up for tracking down some of Europes finest roads, as DB said the roads looked awesome on TG, and that bridge was something else :D

It shouldn't have to cost too much, staying in a Novatell etc... Petrol is reasonable in France too.
Although might have to sleep in cars to stop them from getting burnt, would be nice if anyone is handy with a bit of French to speak to some people on a French clio site, i'm sure that they would love to see a Trophy and like even more to see a few of them. Then perhaps they could show us a few "tasty mon deu le plonk roads"

Although the driving part is not 100% confirmed yet! up to the others coming with me if they want to drive or fly.
