Standard are ET45 but 43 will be fine, others have run them. I thought the Palmer Sport were lightweight alloy versions of 2118????????????

i dont know mate. those are what i asked them to price up for me...i assumed theyd know the wheels i meant. but to be fair to the guys iv asked, they havent dealt with speedline for a while, and usually only do so for 106 s. so god knows lol. iv got the 43s priced, add the michelin pe2s and thats about the same cost per corner, wheel and tyre as the pe3 alone would be for std rims. be silly not to really.

the palmersport ones would be like the williams/cup rims are on the willy then?? and tbh, theres barely any diff in weight between the std rim and the lightweight one .

What do you mean by palmer sport ones?? the 2020's??

To my knowledge all 2118's were the same. The 2020's were magnesium and used in the motorsport world but look identical to 2118's.

Most get them them confused and as the design is identical it's difficult to tell them apart. until you pick them up. The 2020's are much lighter....

You'll be fine with either offset. Its only 2mm difference, and there is plently of room between the spokes and calipers as standard.

Those are the ones I was thinking about, much lighter, magnesium and over three hundred quid a pop.

Really? That's a hell of a deal whether magnesium 2118s or not as PS3s are £94 per corner at Camskill at the moment!

ah well maybe not then lol...but sub 150 a corner for wheel and tyre ...was thinking the pe3s were about the 120 a corner, and the original wheels could do with a refurb, so i guess with the refurb, and tyre...im well below what itd cost to get them up to a decent std on decent tyres.

I could do with a set of 2118's. Anyone know the current cheapest place to buy them from?

Always used to be Speedline direct. CS members get a 10% discount as well. I have some Gold ET38 ones (freshly refurbed) with Hankook RS2's that i could probably be parted with for the right price ...
