A lad I know is running a 172 Cup and is having a few mechanical problems related to his cat and ECU. He's looking for a Renault specialist based around Leeds. I'm sure Cue has mentioned one but I can't remember the name. Can anyone help? Cheers.
Which one would I be best off buying? I don't do many miles as I work away so I drive mainly at weekends. So it got me thinking a diesel might probably cost more than a petrol. But the diesel cupra has sooooo much torque! But I have heard they can torque steer out of corners! Which could be a...

Just rolled over the 36k mark and was after some guidance on where to take the trophy for its due service.
I live in the west middlands, near Wolverhampton and have a choice of neighbouring main dealers but feel that the treatment and price would be much more attractive from a RS specialist...
If i'm quite honest, I don't know much about how to maintain a car myself...always having to get my mates and their tools to help me out. Which isn't really a problem, but I want to start getting more involved. (bikes not a problem..but cars..i'm lost)
I bought my Trophy around June time with...

Right this is mearly an expression of interest - i'm not sure if I can sort one at this stage but if enough people are interested i'll make some enquiries with my trade contacts....

time may be up for #356
just recently got married and possibly 356 may now be a little to small for our needs. The wife has her heart set on me getting a 330CI or 330 convertible, cos it looks "posh", and i was thinking of going for a 230 R26.
BUT....... the question I want to throw out there...
HI Guys,
Has anyone got any feedback on Prima Racing?
A friend with a 172 cup recomended them and I am thinking of taking my car there for a service as opposed to a theiving Renault dealer.
They do loads of things ranging from turbo's, chips, etc and are a renault specialist so i figured...
After four years of ownership, I'll shortly be selling my Trophy. My new car arrives early September and that's when I'll be selling the Trophy, we've only got the one car. If anyone is interested here are the details. One owner, full independent Renault specialist service history. 67,000 mainly...
its on the verge of going despite me being carful.
what i would really love is to get the original one re stitched in black Swede but no doubt this is near impossible and no-one could do it. ???

Anybody used either company?? Both prices are around the same, with the fitting of new tires.
Wheel repair center is in Preston which isn't too far away.
Many thank Richard

Hi All,
I've recently uprated my brakes to Brembo HC disk, DS 2500 pads, braided lines and DOT 5.1 fluid. The brakes were treated gently for the first 250 miles, however, on returning back from a long drive I noticed they started squeeling when coming to a stop.
As I was still a long way from...
I had read a blog from a team that races 172s and they had said that the rear wheel bearings were a consumable item and needed replacing pretty often.
Yesterday i changed my rear brakes & bearings for brand new genuine renault bits, and also cleaned several tonnes of crap off the inside of my...

Its my birthday next month and im treating myself to a new exhaust (any excuse) but I cant decide which one to go for, Yozzasport or RS192?

Having been snowed in two years running, I'm thinking my trophy has a profound disslike to snow. Ok, I know it is not designed for it. I love my Trophy, but this gets me down every year. My dad has a VW Passat oil burner (No I say!) and has no problems what so ever. So people, what cars are good...
