Going to be trying to get into this market in the new year. Have teamed up with a long-standing Jap Import Specialist with his own man out there. Big learning curve tho with purchase, shipping, insurance, ESVA test - as well as (I am told) different auctions grading quite a bit differently and...
....thinking of getting rid of them to create some space in the garage.
clad in yoko a539 rubber that have covered barely 2k. Slight curbing to the wheels... any interest - i've posted on CS also.
Hi
I've been a proud owner of a Trophy for about a month or so now. I'm getting to the 12,000 mile service and was wondering if any of you kind folk knew of any specialists (non-renault) that would be capable of servicing the Trophy in the Devon/Exeter/Somerset region without invalidating the...
I was under the impression that there was only one 06 plate Trophy in the country and that was number 500/500 which was held back to 1st March and given away in a prize draw (Autocar mag i believe)
I have just been informed that this is not the only 06 plater around - just wondering if anyone...
Just a thought, but as the site gets bigger the running costs go up and it might be an idea to try to get some well known Clio specialists to provide a bit of backing. In return they get a small banner somewhere with a link to their own website.
a week or so ago someone posted that in the south there was a plonker selling his Trophy for under 10k. no-one really belived it.... well

let the abuse commence :)
I am considering buying a second hand 993 as a weekend car (or perhaps as a daily driver and turning the Trophy into a weekend car). Something with around 30-50k miles on it.
Has anyone had any experience owning a 993 (or the previous model) in the past? I'm interested even if you've driven...
Since the other thread has been taken over for banter, I'm looking for low mileage pref. one or two owner Trophys that have not had a bang or been trackdayed. it's a lot to ask I know.
Still on the hunt for a low kms LHD car (or two) if you ever see one advertised.
Finance settled in an...
...on my stocklist for a clean low mileage, pref. not trackdayed Clio Trophy (yes I know that's becoming more unlikely!) Contact me before you part-exchange. Payment by Bank Draft and finance cleared in a mutually acceptable manner.

I just spotted this on the Renaultsport forum "panel of experts" bit:
Eldorado asked: 182 service
Am I right in saying that my 182 clio needs servicing either every 12k miles or every 12 months? If so, why was this changed from every 24 months? Isn't a service every year a little excessive...

Does anyone know a Renaultsport specialist in or near Woking, Surrey? Am about to order the Janspeed exhaust and would like to get it done closer than Portsmouth or Salisbury ideally!
Thanks.
So I was chatting with Bernard Olivier the CEO of Renault Sport at the weekend (as one does  ) and he brought up the subject of the Trophy dampers.
Apart from talking about how good they are he mentioned that the one negative is the need for them to be replaced / rebuilt more often...
Can we compile a list of the different Renault specialists for easy reference?
I need tyres, pads, a service and whilst I'm at it I might as well get a full alignment done. Being in Kent I'm thinking of taking a day off and shooting down to RenTech in Portsmouth, stopping at MichelDever Tyres...
Does anybody know were i can get my passanger wheeel repaired. if you know they can be repiared if not were i can get a new one from part from renault. had to sweve to avoide a bmw and hit the kurb quit bit scraped.

Ok, a hot topic which has been covered in different ways, but for those of you that have had a service or have one coming up in the not so distant future, i'm just trying to find out where you've had yours done/where you'll choose.
I'm at 11000 miles so mine isnt far away. I've heard good...

It was £121.23 with me providing the oil. What has everyone else paid? It has only just clocked up 10,000 miles but I have decided to get it done early.
Also, how many miles have you had from the front tyres before having to replace them?

Just been in contact with BBPerformance Tuning in Earls Colne, nr Colchester, after reading good things about them here on the website and they offer discounts for specialist car clubs such as this.
They are aware of the ClioSport but not ClioTroph website  and have set-up automatic...
It's that time - have just passed 12k miles and it's due a service. Have booked it in with Masters of Shirley near Croydon - they reckon about 150 notes. Although I live in Brighton I'm going there because a) they're really nice people and b) I took 425 to the local Brighton dealer to get some...
I took some time off work, was supposed to be doing some sensible stuff round the place. Kind of got side tracked, but said side track may of more interest to this forum.
Following from previous threads about camber adjustment amongst other things.
Day 1 Permagard treatment...
Thinking of going for a 182/Trophy and was wondering what sort of insurance the younger members were paying.
