Going to be trying to get into this market in the new year. Have teamed up with a long-standing Jap Import Specialist with his own man out there. Big learning curve tho with purchase, shipping, insurance, ESVA test - as well as (I am told) different auctions grading quite a bit differently and that Japanese are notoriously bad drivers, so most cars have had a knock. We'll see. Also you can't drive the cars after the sale, they just get shipped. Quite a bit of caveat emptor in the mix here. But there's a nice cross over with current sales profile and has to be worth a punt. Looking forward to getting into them, seems most of the current suppliers are in the north too.

Global expansion - Steve I've got contacts who import from Japan. They spent a few years out there, learned the language and everything. Different importers have different arrangements from the Selling companies - could give you another option...

Any other option is more grist to the mill. I have to check finances over the coming weeks before I commit to this, but will stay in touch. Cheers.

Steve: haha, yeah right, but they are bloody good fun to drive.
