Hi chaps, as above, does this work, anyone tried it? Or is it not a plug and play system? A mate of mine is looking to buy one and with the price of sachs needing a refurb being quite reasonable he was wondering if it can be done? More of a cliosport question I know but I haven't joined yet...
About 1 1/2 years ago I had my shocks reconditioned and the are fine, but recently there had been horrible noises and clunking coming from the drivers side. After much hassle finding the problem we noticed that it is the lac of lubrication on the top of the shock. Can any one help me and tell me...
Clio 182 Trophy No. 108
After 4 years of ownership I am reluctantly selling my much loved Trophy. It has received nothing but the best treatment in its life, and is a truly superb example of the car. I have had to purchase a smart fortwo to get me around the streets of London, and the Clio...
Hi
I've just refitted my Sachs after CF serviced them and like at least one other person on here they seem incredibly firm. Now I've owned my T for about 5 years and I've driven lots of other Ts so I have a pretty good idea of what's normal, and quite frankly my Sachs dampers currently feel...
Renault Sport Clio 182 Trophy well maintained reluctant sale (company car and girlfriend says I cannot have 3 cars)
£4500
Loads of history and hundreds spent but still standard (part from cat back miltec exhaust)
MOT 14/05/14 needed new CAT to pass this year

Put the Trophy in for its annual service/MOT and it turns out BOTH front springs are broken and a rear damper is leaking. Car had basically sat for 6 months straight beforehand so I am surprised. Front dampers are fine with no leaks (they were refurbed last August). My questions to you good...
For sale is my 2005 Renault Sport Clio 182 Trophy, Number 441/500. After owning numerous RenaultSports in the past, I thought it was time I finally owned a “Trophy”. Due to a change in circumstances and a significant increase in my annual mileage, it is with regret, my Trophy is for sale. The...
For sale here is Clio Trophy #181 of 500 , the car was first registered in 2005 and is on a 55 plate, it has currently done approx 95k miles.
Car was bought only a few months ago as a weekend car/run about and has seen very little use, I’ve probably only done around 1k miles in it, in fact it...
These are a hot topic at the mo so thought I'd post up my thoughts...
I have now had Cooksports on my T for a week now. A point to note, my front Sachs dampers are in good condition, refurbed recently and no leaks... Rears however are cup shocks, awaiting new Sachs/Koni's to go on.

Hello
Selling my sachs front dampers due to selling my 182, they are in very good condition for what they are, no score marks and are both rock solid. Was intending to get them powder coated and check over at cornering force, and if needed a quick refurb.
£400
As title sold as used and requiring a rebuild.
One of them is ok, one of them is oil-less. Same for the rears one is knackered one is ok, not sure they are refurbed or just thrown away and replaced..
Rather collection but can post also.
Based in Bournemouth.
£300 ONO.
Thanks
Matt
Just brought a trophy and one of my front sachs has gone :( plus I have snapped a spring.
Been advised by bg that its best to get both done at the same drive in and out cost around £700(without springs)
I've read some people are switching them out for h&r's/spax rsx kits and I'm swaying...
Hi everyone.
I sadly have to sell 224 to free up a bit more money towards a house deposit. I’m the 3rd owner and I will miss this car hugely. I’ve owned it since October 2009, have done quite a lot of mileage in it and it’s never let me down once.
HPI clear.
The car has a full service...
Hello, I've bought a trophy and I love it lots, but there's a couple of niggles:
1) I feel the car is slightly down on power, the car has an incomplete service history and i'm told the cambelt was changed by the previous owner, it's suggested that I get the timing checked, does anyone know how...
I need some front new springs, is there anywhere I can get the normal yellow eibach springs or do I have to change? My suspension goes in tomorrow and I've just noticed it by taking it off one of the springs has broken but I want to replace the pair.
cheers
Need some quick expert advice please
I have a 182 cup pack. Been offered front trophy suspension with hub only thing is the one damper needs repairing.
My question is it worth getting just front and how much to repair generally
Cheers
Hi,
I've just had my dampers back from Simon at Cornering Force and don't hesitate to fully recommend his service.
They are now 'unpinned' and so I want to try and understand what the adjuster actually does and to what degree.
Does anyone have a damper curve for the Sachs at different levels...

Regular stalker of this forum but never time to post T450 is all well (apart from CV boot clip fail) currently on 41k.
Anyway, whilst changing the front discs today I realised the T needed some TLC on her, so I plan to refurb the front dampers, new springs on front, lower wishbones, powerflex...
Whats there to say really, BigDave popped round Saturday morning as a mate of ours was fitting ktr/vibratechnics uprated engine + gearbox mounts and a powerflex dogbone so while they were doing that i cracked on with getting the sachs back on the trophy and fitting the sportlines, turned the...
So my nearside shock failed a few weeks ago and got sent off to Simon st cornering force for a rebuild + powder coating.
I decided to go for yellow to match the rear konis and also got a set of sportlines to go on them, so I googled the colour code for the konis and passed them on to Simon...
I'm looking to buy a set of 2118's as my turini's are shagged. But is it going to look like a moon buggy with the 15" wheels without lowering it? Or will I need lowering springs to avoid the puddle jumper look? Has anyone got a picture with the, on without the car being lowered?
Thanks.
I've owned #207 since September 12, having owned #383 before, so its about time for an update.
The car was in excellent condition when I picked it up and only needed a few bits doing!
New exhaust mounts fitted and AeroTwin wipers on arrival home.
I had ordered new set of Speedlines from...
