People, I don't post very often however i felt this must be shared.
Just been out on a fast blast on the long twisty route for a bottle of red to round the week off.
The passenger seat recaro, when you extend the base seat extension thingy, holds an unopened wine bottle perfectly...
I was under the impression that there was only one 06 plate Trophy in the country and that was number 500/500 which was held back to 1st March and given away in a prize draw (Autocar mag i believe)
I have just been informed that this is not the only 06 plater around - just wondering if anyone...
Hi,
Looking for some feedback and advice if possible, i'm thinking about taking the plunge and buying myself a nice low mileage Trophy but the one thing that concerns me is the possible depreciation on the car - ideally what i am looking for is a car thats going to hold its money fairly...
a week or so ago someone posted that in the south there was a plonker selling his Trophy for under 10k. no-one really belived it.... well

Hi,
Booking car in for service and enquired about prices if I provide my own oil. Woman tried telling me I need 5.5 litres of oil. I've done a search on past threads and I can't find any mention of needing more than 5 litres. The oil change guide in the forum suggests you only need 4.75...
Does this mean that 328 UK Trophy owners are not enthusiasts/don't have a computer/value their privacy?
No. That probably accounts for 100 of them. The other's just don't know about the site. We need a TV advert, I could get my friend to do one, he makes animated films for MTV, we're already...
Test drove a 197 today while my Trophy was in for its 12K service. Dealer allowed me to really 'test' the car, staying away from dual carrageways in favour of a few miles of twisting country roads.
Plus points for me...
Cant argue with the claims of better build quality - it felt like a...
Seems i'm always banging on with probs anyone any ideas with this?
From cold can pull off but there is a total lack of power tiil it warms a little, plenty of revs but wiill just not move. Has only just started, admittedly have still only done 2k (i know shame on me)
Sorry no idea what...
Had this in the back of my mind for a while...
Am off to Rentech in a few days, Mike reckons half an hour to install.
Anyone got experience of this type of mod? I seem to recall someone doing this, saw mod in garage section I think, but can't for the life of me find it again
Any input...
Many thanks to Olis for recommending Aurok for my geometry check. Although using the ‘old fashioned’ method of string and gauges, they confirmed my suspicions of incorrect tracking and mismatched camber angles. The camber was obviously slightly out from the factory but the tracking...
Another dynamique wiper stalk for sale over on Cliosport for anyone interested in swapping theirs over. One of the best mods you can do for your sanity when driving in the rain.

As I had today off work I decided to modify the air-intake system on my Trophy by removing the air-valve located near the horn to see what would happen as most after-market CAI on the market (ITG Maxogen & Viper etc) recommend removing the valve on installation.
To my surprise the cars feels...
... anyone fitted this to their Trophy?
It's got a different curve than the origional one and not sure if the bumper is slightly different on the Trophy to a Cup or stnd 182......
Over on cliosport.net I have read many threads that describe the 182’s 5K kick.
I had often thought that these threads over hyped the kick as I can only just feel an increase at 5200 revs in my Trophy, but recently I drove Steve’s (sm wrc) 182 and his car really does kick...
Hi all,
I seem to be increasing the number of miles that I am now doing and am cosidering a mile cruncher (read: 320d) as my daily driver. I feel I am not doing the Trophy any justice :(
Just as a guide my car gets equal if not better treatment than my girlfriend including:
- Washer...
This a bit a long post, apologies but hopefully of interest to more than just me :)

Claying commenced at 06:45 am!
You don't want to know how long it took
Evening all, not strictly a car for sale as I have only been offered it. Would be interested with as much feedback as possible as to what you all think this is worth. 0404 Clio V6 255 in Mars Red with 33k and FRSH. Recent service and 4 new tyres. 3 owners but warranted mileage. So, to summarise...

I thought it might be an idea to see what little gadgets etc people have added to their Trophy's. The kinda things that are slightly less expensive than new exhaust systems ( ) but are nonetheless fun and could be useful to some people!
I've added a Dension Ice Kit to mine so now I...
Guys - I am thinking to spend the Easter holiday long weekend in Germany (and possibly squeeze in a lap at the Nurburgring!).
Does anyone have experience driving there? How long and how much (petrol etc.) do you roughly estimate the trip to be?
Cheers for any advice...
O.
Edit...
When she went off to be rebuilt / stored last year, i didn't do the bonnet properly, and this happened.
She has had a new engine; complete re-fresh from the bearings up and load of other new toys that we will be showing off over the year.
New Bonnet, Windscreen, Bonnet Pins and Braking...
I've found a guide to removing the front grill without removing the front bumper, just need to know the best and easiest way to run a cable from the engine bay to under the drivers side dash.
Can anyone help - pics would be a bonus!
