The additional power from a nitrous system can be very addictive and because its such a simple job to increase the power (quickly changing a couple of jets), most users decide to take quick steps up the power ladder. It must however be remembered, that each step places increased demands on the...
I've reduced my car fleet to just the trophy now, and an impending company car.
So i've decided to allow myself to start modifying again!
What have you all done to your trophies, and were the mods worth it?
So far i've just fitted decent bulbs and a great stereo system.
Just ordered a 172...
Dudes, I am fuming.
My Trophy went in for its third (i.e. north of £500) service a month ago at AKS Renault in Yeovil.
Today it went for its first MOT at my trusted independent garage, local to work, who service my van fleet.
It failed, as the rear pads are worn down to almost nothing, and...

Time has come to insure, tax and test my trophy. The car has passed its MOT but I've been advised that the front disks and pads could do with replacing. The car has only done 10k miles but the disks have corroded, due possibly to sticking pads. Naturally, the dealers said the warranty would...
I have decided to do my 24K service at Mark Fish cause he's near me and very good etc. I will be getting the front dampers unpinned at the same time, along with all the brakes as they are due for the heave ho.
I am going for the Brembo Max HC discs with pagid blues and braided lines.
Question...
Hey guys,
When I bought my Trophy a year ago the first thing I did was upgrade the brakes (to the little known CRN grooved discs and EBC RedStuff pads). I have to be honest they are actually very, very good (and I got them cheaper as they were part of a group buy in which my Good Lady also...
hi, im off to the ring in august. can eny body recomend good brake and disk upgrades for track days, and is it worth upgrading the brake hoses and brake fluid. thanks :D
I've decided to finally upgrade my front brakes. Having looked on Yozzasport, i discovered that the Original RenaultSport Front Discs are more expensive than the after market Brembo Plain Cut front brake discs by £40. Does anyone know why that is, i'd find it hard to believe that the original...
By Rex,
This is a piece I'm about to submit to Auto-Journals:
Three RenaultSport cars in eight months: whilst that statistic may appear to be the symptom of a depreciation junkie, in truth it is my car history since September 2007.
Ownership of my first Renault Sport, an Arctic Blue...

I need 9 others who want brembo max disks for their 172 or 182 - same disk.
Cost will be £76 including postage for both front disks.
First 10 to fill the list will grab a bargain, they normally retail for over £100.

Don't want to severe set up, or anything thats going to destroy alloys :D
Been suggested to change pads & disc will clean up :?
Well, the time has come to part with my car. I am going to sell all of the items separately and then sell the car in 'stock' form at a low price.
I would like to sell the car in the first week of June which is when my insurance expires.
As such I am looking to have all parts available in...
My trophy needs new pads and discs all round, I'm thinking of upgrading to some that feel more solid and that don't squirm under heavy braking as with the standard ones.......
I don't really know much about these things, anyone got any recommendations? Also, how does upgrading affect the...
Just got the replacement for the Trophy yesterday. 20k miles on the clock and paid £14,750 from a trader completely factory standard. I feel guilty for saying it but it's better than the Trophy in every aspect in my opinion:
The clutch pedal is harder, the brake pedal is harder and has...
.... suprise this hasn't been posted on here before now.
On Clio sport they have a group buy going for them.... http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=187850
get your name down sharpish if you're interested as it's not got long to run by the sounds of it.
Hope you have all had a very merry christmas! :D
Just wondering if anyone else got any Trophy related presents? My missus got me a print from Evo, the cover shot of the Trophy and the M6, issue 83 "Giant Killer!" - well chuffed! \:D/
Enjoy your hols folks!
I've been told by R-sport that the brake lines on my Trophy are already braided, however, a lot of people on here swear by Goodridge braided brake lines with good results. Is there anyone near Redhill or Croydon who's fitted these lines able to let me test them out so I can see the difference...
Just fitted Brembo High CArbon disks with Pagid RS42 pads braided hoses and 5.1 dot.
took a day to bed in did disks first with 3 lots of heat treat with full cool down and then 10x 90 Mph stops to do the pads till fade.
Bite is great now and the extra G you get when stopping make you...
i've just got off the phone to Andrew at yozzasport, he was very helpful. I've decided to get new lines, fluid and pads, the only problem being whether to go for the PF97s or the DS2500s. Bascially, as those of you who were at bedford will have seen, i'm not very good at keeping my car clean, so...
Had my car booked in today to my local dealers 'Masters of Beckenham' for an oil change and to fit some Goodridge brake hoses.
I received friendly service from them with all the work being carried out to my satisfaction at a very reasonable previously agreed price - they even cleaned the car...
Ordered a Goodridge Brake Line Kit and some Castrol Responce Dot 4 brake fluid yesterday afternoon from www.yozzasport.co.uk and they turned up first thing this morning.
They also chucked in some (3) YozzaSport stickers!
