Hi, i want to remove my gearknob from my trophy to fit an aftermarket metal one. How do you get the gearknob of the car without damaging it ive tried to twist it but it seems rock solid, is there a trick to it as i dont want to damage the Standard knob as i want to replace it back in the car...

Anyone any idea how the gearknob comes off, does it simply unscrew? Ive never really liked the clios plastic gearknob and fancy swapping it for a nice leather momo one or something similar. With it being a lift up reverse the choice of suitable gearknobs is a bit limited - anyone changed theirs?

What do you lot think about it? I quite like it, there's a greyish one that passes me everymorning, certainly stands out. Quite like the dash too :shock: I've seen a few concept pics of the Type-R and that does look nice
