i brought my trophy last week i p/x my 172 cup when i go above 2000rpm the trophy whistles is this normall as it didnt do it in my cup

Woo Hoo, 10,400 miles of fun fun fun driving. Only a few small problems, (being hit up the arse and the dodgy sensor). But all in all i love the Trophy. Will be staying for a long while. Should reach 12,000 by next week. Nice trip to France on Thursday. lol

Apolgies if this one's been seen/ debated before - I did a quick search and could find nowt. When I open up and the revs go above 5000 I see a cloud of exhaust gasses in the rear view mirror (Note to self: keep eyes on road when pushing on!) The haze is not dark and oily but more like a water...

Looking at the air intake behind the n/s headlamp it appears to have an external bellows connected to the inlet manifold by a vacuum pipe. Presumably this is to do with emissions? Does anyone know exactly how it works and what happens if the pipe is disconnected, as I would guess is the case...
