Mine has alwaysdone it, its a common thing on the 2ltr RS engines, due to there tuned nature. I always find that when I first get in and drive the car is very jumpy and idles well over 1k, but after a couple of mins it back to normal and an absolute peach to drive.

Hi I have no problem with this been posted on RS, as everything is above board, and all the licensing has been dealt with by Renault themselves. If you could post a link to this thread and inform people that are intrested to use this thread, as its becoming a bit messy with posts on CS/Trophy...

Right sorry its been a while but I have some great news. Ian at Reanult has confirmed that they have commisioned 1000 1/43rd scale Trophy Models. He has asked me to take 80 of them which will be available 1st 1/4 of 2008. Know I have posted this on CS and hopefully with the 2 clubs 80...

I have got SAT NAV but it is rubbish, takes for ever to set up and even when its working correctly I find it dificult to hear the instructions and dont like looking away from the road to see where to go. Plus in London when in the City it loses sat lock all the time due to the tall buildings...

the hand book goes on about the standard unit that is fitted to the FF models which have the map light and seperate interior light, which is the same as i had on my old clio, and was pi$$ easy to change the bulb over. THis unit looks like a sealed unit ?????

If you look at the orginall Pre Production Photos of the Trophy you will see that not only did it have Xenons, but on the boot it also had a Trophy Badge. I would love to get one made up for the rear.

Interior light in the car has just stopped working, I thought it may have been the same as my old Clio where you had a 5w side light bulb. I have taken the unit out of the roof and there is no obvious way of changing the bulb . Any ideas, as i keep having to get my Maglight out of the boot...

I have replaced both my dipped beam and main with a set of High power White bulbs (Halfords Own) and they are awsome really bright and give of the HID look but still road legal.

took me 10 mins to wip one of a car in the scrap yard and fit it onto my car, in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning LOL.

Original owner of 047/500 had it from the 2nd September 05 and love every moment of driving it. Not selling up for a good few years.

TBH he was a couple of bolts short of a Clio Trophy. Ah Hang on if thats the case he must work for Renault :lol:

The guy hadnt a clue what all the parts were, he was going to let me take the engine for £300, so when i walked into the office with these bits he just said £100 will do fine. LOL Sold the Manifold on its own for £100 and the inlet went for £160. LOL

There is one in Stock just outside Chelmsford, TBH I went about 3 weeks ago and looked at all of the Clios they had most of them are Mk2 Ph1 which never had the wiper stalk. There were two Mk2 Ph2 one which had burnt out and the wiper stalk was a little melted to say the least and the other...

I have had a look into the plaque option and you can by a small one for as little as 60p, its just a matter of getting the logo and lettering right for the plaque. I think the best option would be to allow Renault to reliese these to the general market, but hold back say 80 for the Trophy...

Ollie I appriecate your opinion. Thing is all of the V6 ph2 had colour coded dash inserts thats partly the reason why I like the idea.
