Stripped my front shocks today as they going for refurb next week and noticed the bearing on both mounts is shot (full of grit with a lot of play).

Has anyone changed these before and perhaps the large rubber mount as I'm curious to how much it may cost to replace. Going to be interesting explaining that to the local stealers as they're not the best on providing the right parts;)

I also would like to know this although I want to know how much the upper rubber part is! :)

I got a quote from Renault for a Top Mount Kit £51.73+vat.

Are the Top Mount Assy's the same on Trophy as a normal 182?

Thanks

When I had my shock replaced by Renault (under warranty), they also replaced the top mounts as they too were shot. My invoice says this:

R60 01 025 850 - Spacer S/A - £14.84
R77 00 415 728 - Bush Supp - £14.28
R77 01 207 806 - Absorber mount - £49.30
R77 03 034 268 - Nut - £2.14
R82 00 514 733 - Shock Absorber - £1100.00

The top mount bearing is nothing more than a glorified washer, when I fitted my solid too mounts a about 6k they were pretty much the same as the ones on my spare set at around 23k so I suspect the amount of play is built in. I can't imagine they will cost much its hardly a highly engineered part.

No idea as didn't get a part number. But so long as its the right part I'm a happy chappy!

Looking forward to getting my shocks back at the end of the week (being posted off to BG Motorsport today for refurb)
