Hi all ive got a trophy with a sticking throttle when you floor the throttle in say 2nd or 3rd, when you press the clutch down to change gear the engine just revs up like its out of gear, like someone has just floored the throttle and it just revs up to the limiter and sits bouncing of it.

Last night it was doing it for around 5 mins on the way home and i constantly had to drive switching the engine of as i dont want to damage the engine.
It dosent do it all the time its on and off.

The car has a Janspeed System, Simota carbon induction kit, and an RS Tuning Remap.

I looked at the pedals last night with a torch and the throttle seems to be all electric without a cable, which i thought it was just the cable getting caught somewhere. In the engine bay its also just cables going to sensors around the throttle intake area.

Does anyone no whats causing it as its Pi$$ing me off now. Thanks Paul.

Know it sounds daft, but have you checked it's not just the mat slipping forward and catching the loud pedal?
