So, i went in today to find out what recalls it had been in for, the bonnet catch being at the top of list

but, after speaking to them they told me that the trophies did not have the dodgy catches fitted to them...

it has been in for the following :

Injection all types
Wheel bearings
Dashboard, Steering wheel, Adjustment
Rear brake disk
Sensor, Control unit, probes

That is utter $hit buddy.

My Trophy went into my dealer ship and got the catch done.
I do believe that you do now have to pay for it as there is a large topic regarding it over on clio sport.

If i was you i would call Renault UK and give them you car details and ask if the recall is still outstanding and make a complete regarding the dealer not having a clue and how bad there information was.

The Clio Trophy bonnet catch is the same as any other generic Clio bonnet catch so dont see how it being a Trophy/Sport will not be affected.

My bonnet catch was replaced FOC by Renault in April this year following a recall letter I received!

Mine is going in on Fri after receiving a letter which states any required maintenance will be completed free of charge.
