Off to look at 319!

About to take 319 for a test-drive/kickabout.

Very excited - if she's decent I'll whack down a deposit and pick her up next weekend. Time to find out if these cars are as fun as you lot say they are!

Anyone know anything about 319?

Actually, the 319 bit was a total lie: it was 426! Don't know where I got 319 from...the existing owner WILL be surprised to hear his car's for sale...

Anyway, chucked down a deposit. There's a bit of work that needs doing, including the replacement of the two front dampers (there was nothing in them), a new front splitter, a couple of tyres and 3 small dents pinging out. The dealer already has a pair of replacement Sachs dampers and agreed to do all of the work (plus a service and aux belt) before collection and included in the original price - what a bloody decent bloke!

So, all being good, I'll be the new owner of 426 (not 319 - sorry mate) before too long.

Yeah, and he'll get the outgoing shocks re-furbed when he pulls them off. It was pretty obvious the existing ones were shot - the front bounced like a ball.
