haha

I should have been sensible but a v6 was too hard to resist.

Will keep an eye on how things are going. Trophy shouldn't be that hard to shift?

255 V6? Good choice, I thought for a minute there someone had chosen a ghastly R32 or 130i. Phew!

130i is a straight six (and in my opinion much better than any V6!) ;)

Of course it is, silly me, there are benefits to an in-line layout, perfectly balanced, as is a 90 degree v or a boxer, good packaging, BMW love it because they have more room for front suspension components but it does mean a higher centre of gravity and sometimes problems with a shallow sump for ground clearance.

I'd argue that the V6 in the NSX is better than any staight six but each to their own.

Oops. I like the exhausts.

Hijacking? Bumping, don't you mean?

Take it you've seen this jamiec? An R32 chasing down an F40 on the way to Le Mans.

Blimey that F40's blistering. I wouldn't have believed that an r32 could hit those speeds, i'd guess at a little bit of a tweek has occurred there!

Well a 175bhp Clio can do 140 and that's got the drag coefficient of a Borg Cube so a de-limited 260bhp Golf shouldn't have any trouble hitting an indicated 168bhp which is probably only 150mph. Still, gotta have some balls though, the Gendarmes would take your license and arrest you for that.

I like the comment half way down, "you could do 200mph in a golf and still not feel excited".

Oops. Off topic, buy Brians car FFS, it's a steal. What are you waiting for? Something better to come along for the same money? You'll be waiting a long time...

Did you know a new Golf R32 does 30 - 70mph in 5.7 seconds? NOW THAT'S FAST!

The Trophy takes a whole 5.8.

A new Porsche Boxster on the other hand, takes 5.9.
