Janspeed Cat Back Fitted

some pics of my new janspeed system on the trophy, as other people have said its not too loud, a nice burble on tick over and enough to improve the sound of the car by 100%. This system should have been on the car when it was made!!!!

weathers been crap here so the car isnt its usual shiny self, will have to put that right soon!!

i think they get a little louder with age but not too much to make a big difference!!

you should get 1 they have a sportier sound but nothing stupidly loud, i just went out for a 5 mile blast round where i live so i could hear the note again!!!! lol

Over 5000 miles on my Janspeed now. I have found it is slightly louder now but not hugely so.

Definately makes driving more enjoyable and does not drone on the motorway at constant (legal) speeds

neal, im in the scottish borders mate, a wee bit away from you i think!!!

it was 349.99 from janspeed themselves, free fitting (thanks to my dad)
wouldnt take much for some1 to fit it though.

Went for another run in the car to see if the note is improving, so far all i can say is that the exhaust is quite quiet initially and only gets better after 15 mins or so of driving. Any1 else noticed this about the janspeed??

it may just take a few miles to carbon up!?

I've now seen / heard several different systems for the 182 from Orbisoud, Pro-Speed, Magnex, Blueflame, Haywood & Scott etc

Some are very nicely manuafctured like the Orisoud, but IMHO the Janspeed system beats them all.

I've most of done 6K + miles with my Janspeed and have recently swapped my sports cat for a GDI de-cat. The sound is just perfect now!! Absolutely no cabin drone / booming on motorway journeys and just enough noise when pushing on hard!

ive not heard any exhausts on the trophy yet, so hopefully i will be able to hear some at trax and the renault world series
