Perhaps 'cos I'm 39 helps but I have a £3k claim against me in the last couple of years but I'm in for £360 with a £200 xs. Feels good to me.

I guess it must come down to post code. For some reason, certain insurers seem to assess my post code differently, maybe some have a more fine grained grid, or different boundaries to others?
