Hey i was there on Saturday..... it was great till the sudden hail storm that came and hit in the arvo!! i managed to hide under an umbrella to get out of it!
was a great drive down with my Trophy...... in convoy with two M3's and a 172 Cup. Avoided the traffic by the wonders of sat nav and had a great blast along some wicked B-roads, lots of sharp bends and with the roads being dry on the way i was able to plant my heavy foot and have some fun!!!!!!!! I was actually having so much fun that i didn't notice the Ferrari come up behind us, but when i did we hit a long straight and i encouraged it passed to a wicked sound as he down shifted and floored it passed!!! was wicked, he then joined our convoy to the car park!
we all got out with big grins and constantly talked about it all day........ and then all evening after another fun drive back!!!!!!!!! this drive involved an old skool Porsche and some fun on the A3..........
The weekend was the best blast in the Trophy i have had since getting it in Feb and when i got back it was covered in mud from trying to leave the mud ridden fields!
The Richard Burns Subaru looked fantastic, went onto their stand at the end of the day, Richards actual Rally Car he won the championship in was parked up - quite poignant.
Was up at the rally section when the skies opened so it was like a mini-glastonbury. Tried to get on the Wild Cats but they were booked up for the day.
V lucky with the weather apart from that, left the Clio at home and took other halfs Subaru, we figured he would have a better chance of getting out the mud than me!
The trophy is the first car I have had where ive been obsessed with it being spotless all the time. Just makes me so happy seeing her sparkle. Glad im not the only one!
