Clio Trophy 182, AT Power ITBs Specialist Components Standalone ECU £5000
OK Here Goes, after listening to advice I have decided to sell my latest acquisition, since doing my first trackday last year I was blown away by my old Trophy 321's handling and the noise and speed of a few clios that had ITBs. When I found this one for sale I had to try and buy it even though I knew I had too many toys.
Having stepped back and listening to advice off people whose opinion I respect I have decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy it, rather than look at it sat on my drive every day..
Up for sale is my clio 182 trophy
Taxed till April 2014
MOT till December 2014
The car has 99500 miles on with good service history, lots of paperwork and invoices including the original purchase receipt.
Just passed it's mot and had new break pads all around along with a fresh oil change including brake fluid and PAS fluid.
The Timing belts were replaced 17/04/2012 however on this occasion the dephaser wasn't replaced and has now started to rattle.
It was my intention to replace the belts and dephaser and to fit 421 cams however I have decided against this as I will be lucky to use the car on a regular basis. I then thought I should just do the belts for the new owner which I can do but it will be at the buyers expense, I have been quoted £580 for this by a renowned specialist.
The reason I have decided against doing this is to give the new owner the opportunity to have their choice of cams fitted as I believe most people would want to. This way the labour charge would be minimal whilst the belts and dephaser are being replaced.
The car is in very good condition and is always cleaned and waxed weekly.it has a few nice mods such as
AT Power Throttle bodies
Specialist Components ECU
USB to read/program ECU.. This alone is £110
Xenon headlights (trophy's don't come with these)
Full flocked dash
Stainless Steel Exhaust
Aircon delete kit
Carbon wiper blank and the most obvious is the
Sachs Suspension
Recaro Trendlines
16 Turinis wrapped in Goodyear eagle f1s
