History of the car:
I bought this car last year after finding it with a salvage company. The Trophy was registered as a Cat D. The salvage pictures looked very good with very minor damage. I managed to hunt down the owner who had it from new, on here (Olis) and exchanged plenty of emails. The car although used properly had been properly looked after with anything needing being done. Olis explained how he slid on snow at slow speed into a low wall, but a Renault bodyshop literally priced up everything for replacement.
Looking at the pictures I could see this was nonsense and took a chance. The previous owner kindly sent me all the history, spare keys and service books he luckily kept. The plan was to replace the bumper and anything it needed to get it back on the road.

The trophy turned up and as I expected, was in very good shape and been cared for.
On the hunt for a few bits, as luck would have it i came across a Cat C 40k mile trophy with rear end damage! Perfect I snapped that up to use for any bits 351 needed.
Here is a picture of the damage of 351

Front bumper and splitter and nsf wheel scuffed. As you can see there was no damage to the crash structure, front panel etc
Front bumper was removed from the other Trophy, and being low mileage were in good condition. I removed all the suspension front and back and checked and measured everything. The Sachs were perfect and solid on the front and were cleaned and refitted. The rear Sachs were swapped for the low mileage Trophy as were original.
New track rod ends and lower ball joints fitted with a new nsf wheel from the other Trophy along with new tyres. Whilst

Having another stripped trophy I thought it would be silly not to swap the front subframe over so I did to eliminate any doubt.
I then sent the car for a hunter full alignment which showed it was all true and within spec! See printout.
Subsequently by brother bought the car as it was so good.

Overall the car is in very good condition for its age, bar a few dings and marks. I gave it a mini valet at the weekend with the service and brakes. The capsicum red paint is nice and bright and not faded like most.

We are looking at £3350 which we are quite firm on bearing in mind all the money just spent on it, and the fact the car is worth over £4500 in parts. It doesn’t need anything just taking home and enjoying. My brother has driven it for a year and put on 15k miles on including a trip to Scotland without fault.

As mentioned, I am seeling the car on my brothers behalf. Any technical questions you can ask me on here, or if to arrange viewings can you call Dan on 07830741535

No mention of it being written off though, hopefully no body gets caught out.

Hmmmm as you say nothing declared about it being a cat D on the eBay listing. Someone's going to get a shock unless they do their homework before handing over the cash !

Exactly, remember looking on here at mine before I bought it to see if there was any info on it.
