What was the problem with the engine (exhaust steaming and leak underneath) and have you got that sorted?

The final outcome was a cracked gearbox housing and broken clutch. What happened was the gearbox and clutch blew, this in turn cracked the gearbox housing which leaked transmission fluid straight onto the CAT and exhaust. This caused a large amount of smoking from the burning oil on the exhaust.The clutch has been replaced with a brand new OEM Renault clutch assembly and the gearbox was replaced with one from a 50,000 mile 182.

The car runs a dream and gear setup which is normally very hard to adjust is perfect! The other bonus about the full clutch assembly is the fact the cable is brand new and is very smooth in comparison to my Trophy
