Advise Required

Hi All...Hope you had a great Chrimbo.

I was sent this way by two helpful guys on Renaultsport (P.B Trophy & Roystinho) as i'm looking to get rid of my current 182 (Long story why) for poss a Trophy.

Just wondered if there was anything i had to look out for different to a standard 182 - If i find a Trophy in the southwest for sale that is.

Hi and welcome,

The only other thing to look out for over a regular 182 is the front shocks. The Trophy's have Sachs shocks which aren't as well sealed as standard shocks so it's worth checking that they aren't leaking, most have had their shocks rebuilt now which costs around about £350-450 and there are a couple of places that do this.

Apart from that it's just all the usually little Renault quirks that need looking out for. Don't forget that we're at the time now where cambelts are close to being/due so it's worth checking this has been done or is priced accordingly.
