Spent the weekend polishing the Trophy, have been meaning to combat the swirls ever since it came out of Renault for some warranty work (forgot to ask them not to clean the car with a gritty sponge).

Not the best weekend, as I had to keep dodging all the rain showers . Had to finish up in the garage as the heavens opened for the third time today!

No before pics as I left my camera at work, had to charge my wifes camera up so the pics start half way through the first day - even my daughter took a few snaps.

Products used;
I4D Bright Wheels acid free wheel cleaner
I4D Tyre Gloss
I4D Snow Foam pre-wash
Meguiars Hyper Wash shampoo
Meguiars Quik Clay Kit

Meguiars Last Touch QD spray
Britemax #5 Extreme Elements polymer sealant by hand

very nice, think I might velcro my number plates on. Great Idea, saves those dribbles of water that keep running out. :)

8) A quality job done there Mat, wish I had even half of your patience!

I'm usually bored by the time I've got all the cleaning kit out and the hose set up

car looking awesome as always Matt.

When changing my road wheels back on the car, I cleaned the insides of the turinis and then sponge washed the car...thats about as far as it went for me over the weekend!

Got around to using the Britemax metal cleaner polish/ sealant combination on the exhaust yesterday and am very impressed. Not the greatest of pix(must get camera back off gf) R/H pipe and box have been treated.
Also used the long handled wheel brush you supplied, works really well though i now have a tshirt and jeans that can never be worn in puplic again, just a bit spattered :)

Just to bump 7mat (in a manner of speaking..!!) I purchased sonus drying towels and the wheel brush mentioned by hoolio and both have been fantastic! The towels are infinitely more absorbent than the meguiars water magnet and the brush is so much better than my (now broken) halfrauds nasty item!

Highly recommend buying from him (postage was quick too!
...This feels like ebay feedback!

Nice job, looks like new!

TBH it's better than new, the picture doesn't really show the improvement though you can see from the left hand side of the little plaque that it had gone quite dull. I was never totally happy with the finish, kinda hazy shine, this stuff has really brought the shine out. :)
