182 to Trophy suspension upgrade kit

Some guys from France over on Cliosport have been looking at retrofitting the Sachs dampers to their 172's and 182's.

Interestingly, one guy has phoned Renaultsport in Dieppe and was told the following:

182 to Trophy upgrade kit will be available soon.
Part no. 60 00 07 890, Price €1200 (£832) before tax

He also got information on the Trophy Front Damper
Part no 82 00 514 733, Price €623 (£432) before tax. :shock:

I know the kit has been mentioned before, but I doubted it would ever be available. The fact that there is a part number would seem to suggest it just might be.

Nik, thanks for the info,its pretty nice to hear about it, but, a have a question does the 172, and the trophy have the same chasis suspension? i tought yes, but now im confuse,you know?.

i wonder if the upgrade kit its sachs or another brand.

I thought yes, but due to the different wheel base and caster between 172 and 182/Trophy, the front lower arms should be different.

Interesting find. Just wait for the Trophy sticker part number and number plaque part number and there will be more than 500 about.
